Appearing For AIIMS PhD Entrance Exam July 2024, Know All Exam Scheme Details Here

New Delhi- Through a notice, the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has detailed the scheme of examination for PhD Entrance Examination for the July 2024 session. The PhD Entrance Exam for AIIMS, New Delhi July 2024 will be held on 13th August 2024.

As per the notice, to accommodate candidates appearing in more than one subject, the following conditions will apply to all candidates:

1 Stage I will consist of 30 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), with a duration of 40 minutes.

2 Stage II (subject-related theory) will consist of 40 MCQs, with a duration of 50 minutes.

3 The total examination time for both stages will be 90 minutes, comprising 70 MCQs.

It is to be noted that, an admit card will be issued for each applied subject separately which will include, in addition to the roll number, a login ID for each stage. Meanwhile, the password for the examination will be announced in the examination hall.

Along with this, candidates also need to follow the following steps-

1 All the candidates will have to attempt Stage I which will be conducted online and to attempt Stage I of the PhD Entrance Examination the candidates will have to log in using their respective login IDs and after completing Stage I, the candidates will have to submit their answers. The Stage I consists of 30 MCQs with a duration of 40 minutes.

2 After submitting Stage I, candidates are mandatorily required to log in again for Stage II, which consists of 40 MCQs with a duration of 50 minutes.

3 Candidates who have applied for more than one speciality/department must bring an admit card, failing which will not be allowed to appear in the respective subject.

4 Candidates who have applied for more than one speciality/department need to attempt Stage I only once using the admit card of any subject. To attempt Stage II for each subject separately one after the other as per the login ID mentioned in the admit card of the respective subject.

5 Candidates who have applied for more than one speciality/department are mandatorily required to bring in the notice in advance before the day of examination if have been issued admit cards containing different login Id for Stage I or allocated different examination centres for different considered for the subject in which will not be able to appear.

6 The result for each subject will be calculated independently by combining the scores from Stage I and Stage II.

Moreover, for the PWBD candidates, the compensatory time for Stage I will be 15 minutes in addition to 40 minutes i.e. 55 minutes and for subject theory time will be of 20 minutes in addition to 50 minutes i.e. 70 minutes.
