AYUSH Internship completion cutoff date extended for AIAPGET 2026 eligibility, details
New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the extension of the internship completion cut-off date for eligibility to appear in the All India Ayush Post Graduate Entrance Test (AIAPGET) exam 2026 for PG AYUSH admissions this year.
As per the public notice, following the commencement of the registration process, NTA received a large number of representations from candidates requesting extension of the prescribed Compulsory Rotatory Internship completion cut-off date.
Therefore, in pursuance of the communications received from the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM) and the National Commission for Homoeopathy (NCH), the internship completion cut-off date for determining eligibility to appear in AIAPGET-2026 has been revised from 31 August 2026 to 31 October 2026 for Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani and Homoeopathy.
However, all other provisions, eligibility conditions, examination schedule and instructions for AIAPGET-2026 shall remain unchanged.
Through the notice, NTA has instructed the candidates desirous of appearing in AIAPGET-2026 to take note of the amendment and complete the Online Application Form before the last date of registration.
The NTA is conducting the AIAPGET 2026 exam for admission to Postgraduate AYUSH Courses for the Academic Session 2026-27.
The online application Form for AIAPGET-2026 has already been made live on the official website of NTA; and, the registration process is presently underway. However, the last date for submission of the online application form is 30 July 2026 (up to 09:00 РM).
