AYUSH PG Admissions 2020: Cut off date for internship completion extended, notifies AACCC
New Delhi: Through a recent notice, the AYUSH Admissions Central Counseling Committee (AACCC) has informed about the extension in the last date/cut-off date for completion of the internship for eligibility for admission in PG Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Siddha and Unani courses for the academic session 2020-21.
It is for the information to all AIAPGET-2020 qualified candidates participating in AACCC PG Counselling 2020 that Ministry has received various representations from AIAPGET-2020 aspirants regarding the inability to complete their one year rotatory internship by 31st October 2020 (last date for completing the internship for eligibility for admission in ASU & H PG courses for academic year) due to the Covid-19 pandemic and nationwide lockdown.
On this, the AACCC informed that the Ministry has examined this matter and decided to extend last date/cut-off date for completion of internship up to 31st December, 2020 for eligibility for admission in ASU & H PG courses for academic session 2020-21.
However, such candidates who have applied for AIAPGET-2020 based on the existing criteria for completion of the internship by 31st October 2020 must have been started their one-year compulsory rotatory internship on and before 1st November 2019. Therefore, the starting date of internship for such candidates shall be on or before 1st November 2019.
