BOPEE Begins Registration Process For Admission To PG Ayurveda Courses, Candidates Can Register Till 31st October

Jammu & Kashmir: The Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (BOPEE) has begun the registration process for admission to MD /MS Ayurveda courses for the academic year 2023-24.

The candidates can carry out the registration process till 31.10.2023. They need to submit their preference for the course through online mode at the time of registration. All the documents need to be uploaded along with the registration process. Any wrong information filled in by the candidate(s) in the Application Form shall render him/her ineligible for admission.

The candidates have to deposit the Counselling fee of Rs. 2000 through online mode, without which they will not be considered for allotment of a seat, notwithstanding the eligibility of such candidates. The seats shall be allotted to the candidates on the basis of merit cum preferences filled by the candidates in the online form.

Regarding admission fees, the willing candidates are advised to contact the concerned college before participating in the online counseling process.

Documents to be uploaded for registration –

1. Score Card of AIAPGET-2023

2. Domicile Certificate of the candidate (not applicable for candidates who are applying under AIQ & MQ seats)

3. Final Year Marks Sheet of BAMS Examination

4. Documentary Proof of having completed a one-year Pre-Registration Compulsory Rotatory Internship in a duly Recognized Institution at the time of submission of documents; if not, an undertaking in the prescribed format is required to be uploaded by the concerned candidate on the official website of the BOPEE. The format of the undertaking is available on the website of the Board as Annexure-A to this Notification

5. Registration Certificate from J&K Medical Council/CCIM

6. Degree Certificate of BAMS issued by the concerned University; otherwise, upload an undertaking as mentioned in Annexure-A in the notice below

7. No Domicile Certificate is required for the candidates from outside UT of J&K who are applying for All India & Management Quota seats

Seats vacant –

A total of 15 seats are available for MD /MS Ayurveda. Government quota has 7 seats, All India Quota (15%) has 2 seats, management quota has 6 seats vacant. The course-wise seat matrix is enclosed in the notice below.

All Management Quota seats, including All India Quota seats, shall be filled up by the BOPEE in terms of Government Order No. 634-HME of 2019 dated 04.07.2019 issued by the Health & Medical Education Department, J&K. The registration shall be provisional. It shall not confer any right on the candidates to claim for a seat.

The seats under All India Quota (AIQ) in Private Colleges shall have to be filled by the State/UT Counselling Authority i.e. J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examinations, as per counseling guidelines for admissions & counseling issued by All India Ayush Central Counselling Committee (AACCC) referred above. For these seats, no domicile certificate is required i.e. candidates from outside UT of J&K can also apply under All India Quota seats mentioned in the above table subject to the eligibility as mentioned above.

The seats under All India Quota (AIQ), if any, remain unfilled due to the non-availability of candidate(s) from outside UT of J&K; the Board shall fill up such seats and allot to willing candidates belonging to UT of J&K.
