BOPEE Begins Registration Process For PG Ayurveda Courses, details

Jammu & Kashmir: The registration process for MD/MS Ayurveda courses has begun, J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (BOPEE) has announced this through a written notice.

The candidates can register themselves till 27.2.2023. They need to upload d all necessary documents on the official website of BOPEE (www.jkbopee.gov.in) along with the result card of AIAPGET-2022 for verification by the Board.

The candidates have to deposit the counselling fee of Rs. 2000 through online mode, without which they will not be considered for allotment of a seat, notwithstanding the eligibility of such candidates.

The following documents are to be uploaded for registration –

1. Score Card of AIAPGET-2022

2. Domicile Certificate of the candidate

3. Final Year Marks Sheet of all BAMS Examination

4. Documentary Proof of having completed a one-year pre-registration Compulsory Rotatory Internship in a duly recognized institution at the time of submission of documents

5. Registration Certificate from J&K Medical Council/CCIM

6. Degree Certificate of BAMS issued by the concerned University

7. No Domicile Certificate is required for the candidates from outside UT of J&K who are applying for All India Quota seats

The following is the cutoff of the AIAPGET-2022 score –

1. OM/EWS/CDP/JKPM/SP - 50th Percentile (Cutoff score 109)

2. SC/ST/OSC/PSP/ALC/IB/RBA - 40th Percentile (Cutoff score 93)

3. OM/EWS-PwD - 45th Percentile (Cutoff score 101)

4. SC/ST/OSC/PSP/ALC/IB/RBA-PwD - 40th Percentile (Cutoff score 95)

The seats shall be allotted to the candidates based on merit cum preferences filled by the candidates in the online form. The BOPEE shall fill up all Management Quota seats including All India Quota seats, in terms of Government Order No. 64-HME of 2019 dated 04.07.2019 issued by the Health & Medical Education Department, J&K.

The registration will be provisional. There is no reservation in the private college. Still, the candidates within the cutoff eligibility score can participate in the counselling and will be considered based on their merit scored by them in the AIAPGET examination. Any wrong information filled in by the candidates in the application form will render them ineligible for admission.

There are 2 courses under Ayurveda MD Kayachikitsa and MD Kriya Sharir. Government Quota has 6 seats, Management Quota has 2 seats, and the All India Quota has 2 seats allotted. The detailed seat matrix is enclosed in the notice below.

The seats under All India Quota (AIQ) in Private Colleges shall have to be filled by the State/UT Counseling Authority, i.e. J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examinations as per counselling guidelines for admissions & counselling issued by All India Ayush Central Counselling Committee (AACCC) referred above. No domicile certificate is required for these seats, i.e. candidates from outside UT of J&K can apply under All India Quota seats mentioned in the above table subject to the eligibility mentioned above.

The seats under All India Quota (AIAQ), if any, remaining unfilled due to the non-availability of candidates from outside UT of J&K, the Board shall fill and allot such seats to willing candidates belonging to UT of J&K. Regarding charging of fees for Government /Management Quota/All India Quota Seats, the willing candidates are advised to contact the concerned college before participation in the online counselling process.
