DME Gujarat Begins Special Stray Vacancy Round Registration for PG Ayurveda, homeopathy Courses 2024, check all details

Gujarat- Director of Medical Education (DME) Gujarat has begun the special Stray vacancy round registration and choice filling for MD & MS (Ayurveda) and MD (Homeopathy) courses for the academic year 2024-25.

As per the schedule in this regard, the process of special stray vacancy round registration and choice filling for MD & MS (Ayurveda) and MD (Homeopathy) Courses 2024 is already ongoing and will end on 15 December 2024. In which, the online PIN purchase, registration and document upload have already started and will end on 15th December 2024. Meanwhile, the choice filling is going to start today i.e., 13th December 2024 and will end on 15th December 2024.

ELIGIBILITY

1 Students who are eligible as per AIA-PGET-2024 eligibility criteria and Ministry of AYUSH, New Delhi, and who have completed BAMS/BHMS course from any University in India are eligible for these vacant seats of Post Graduate Ayurveda and Homeopathy Courses.

2 All the available vacant seats are in the General Category, so students should be eligible for the General Category seats as per the AIA-PGET-2024 General Category cut-off marks.

NON ELIGIBILITY

1. Students who have already got admission to previous rounds of All India Quota/State Counselling will not be eligible to participate in this round.

2. Candidates who have been allotted seats in Round 03 or subsequent rounds of All India/State Counselling will not be eligible to participate in this round.

3. Candidates who have been allotted seats for MD-MS (Ayurveda)/MD (Homeopathy) courses in this round and thereafter have not paid the prescribed tuition fees of the college and have not submitted the original certificates at the Help Centre of the Admission Committee i.e. admission is not confirmed, their refundable security deposit will be forfeited and these candidates will not be eligible to participate in Special Vacancy Round-II conducted by the Admission Committee.

4 Candidates who have been allotted seats in MD-MS (Ayurveda) / MD (Homeopathy) Courses in Special Stray Vacancy Round and have secured their admission (for example, have secured their admission after paying the prescribed tuition fees through a designated bank and submitting original documents to the Help Centre and have taken the Admission Order from the Help Centre of ACPPGMEC). These candidates will not be eligible to participate in Special Stray Vacancy Round-II conducted by the Admission Committee.

ORIGINAL DOCUMENT SUBMISSION AT HELP CENTER

The list of Original Documents to be submitted is as follows-

1 Allotment Letter of ACPPGMEC.

2 Tuition Fee Receipt showing the paid one term (6 months) fees for Self-financed institute / one-year fees for Government institute at designated Axis Bank branch.

3 All-year attempt-wise BAMS / BHMS mark sheets.

4 Internship completion certificates (on or before 31/07/2024).

5 Copy of the AIAPGET Mark sheet of the current academic year.

6 Provisional Registration of Gujarat Board of Ayurvedic & Unani System of Medicine/ Council of Homoeopathic System of Medicine Gujarat State OR Central Council of Indian Medicine / Central Council of Homoeopathy ((In case of fresh candidates only who have just completed their internship)/Permanent Registration of Gujarat Board of Ayurvedic & Unani System of Medicine/ Council of Homoeopathic System of Medicine Gujarat State OR Central Council of Indian medicine / Central Council of Homoeopathy (In case of old pass out candidates) with renewal receipt where is applicable.

7 Documents showing Date & Place of Birth & Indian Citizenship (School leaving Certificate/ Transfer Certificate/ Passport/ Birth Certificate).

8 For SEBC, ST and SC Category: Caste certificate issued by Competent Authorities of Gujarat State only.

9 For SEBC Category: Non-creamy layer certificate (Parishistha ‘4’ in Gujarati/English) issued by Competent Authorities of Gujarat State only dated on or after 01/04/2022. The certificate should be valid for 2024-25.

10 For EWS (Economically Weaker Sections) Category: EWS certificate issued by Competent Authorities of Gujarat State only dated on or after 01/04/2022. The certificate should be valid for 2024-25.

11 Photocopy of Disability Certificate issued by Competent Authority.

12 Copy of Passport - if Citizenship is Dual/ Foreign

Meanwhile, it is to be noted that the PIN for online registration should be purchased from the official website of DME Gujarat through online payment of Rs.2000/- + Rs.10,000 = Total Rs.12,000/-. At the same time, the candidate has to pay the requisite amount of tuition fees by cash/DD at any of the designated Axis Bank branches or through online payment within the time limit specified by the ACPPGMEC.

After online registration, the candidate has to upload the required documents. However, there is no need to verify the application and submit copies of certificates at the help centre. Merit number will be given on the basis of online registration only. Therefore, the merit list will be prepared as per AIA-PGET-2024.

Also, upload documents and do choice filling as per the prescribed time after the registration is complete. However, students who fail to register and upload the required documents within the prescribed time will not be considered for admission under any circumstances.

Moreover, if a student gets disqualified for any reason, his/her choice filling will not be taken into consideration for seat allotment. Seat allotment will be done on the basis of merit cum choice filling.

ONLINE CHOICE FILLING & ALLOTMENT OF ADMISSION

1 After merit declaration, the choice filling will be initiated online for each round.

2 After the choice-filling period is over, the ACPPGMEC will process for allotment of seats and declare the status of allotment on the website.

3 The candidates can view their status of allotment by login to their own User ID.

PREPARATION AND PUBLICATION OF MERIT LIST

1 After the registration process, ACPPGMEC will prepare and declare a merit list of all eligible candidates.

2 Candidate needs to verify merit number and category as mentioned in registration details.

As per the vacant seat positions, a total of 83 seats are vacant across Ayurveda and Homeopathy courses. Of these, a total of 7 seats are vacant across 3 MD Homeopathy and 76 seats are vacant across 12 MD and MS Ayurveda

1. If any seats for MD-MS (Ayurveda)/MD (Homeopathy) courses remain vacant after the Special Stray Vacancy Round, the Admission Committee will conduct Special Stray Vacancy Round-II.

2. Only those candidates who are not allotted seats in the Special Stray Vacancy Round will be considered eligible for allotment of the remaining seats in Special Stray Vacancy Round-II.
