DME Gujarat Opens Choice Filling Window For Round 3 For PG Ayurveda, Homeopathy admissions

The Director of Medical Education (DME Gujarat) has opened the choice filling window for online round 3 for PG Ayurveda and Homeopathy courses. The merit list for the 3rd round, non-reported seat list, and canceled seat list after of 2nd round has also been released.

The candidates can make a choice filling till 6.3.2023, up to 4:00 pm. The choices will be displayed up to 6.3.2023, up to midnight.

Online allotment of seats will be done based on merit cum choice. So it is merit cum choice-based allotment. The candidates can decide on a specific branch/Specific Institute/Place/Government or SFI/Choice based on fees.

In the choice filling of the second round, choices available for candidates/allotment of seats will be carried out as per the closure of the first round. Suppose the candidate cannot secure the allotted seat for whatsoever reasons. In that case, such a candidate will not be eligible for admission in the same subject in the same institute in the successive rounds of counseling.

The following are the options available for choice filling –

1. Available Choice: you can see all available choices

2. Fill choice: to start your choice-filling process

3. Print-filled choice: after locking your choices, you can take the printout of your choice list

The candidates need to check the annual fees and term fees. They have to pay term fees at the time of admission. The choices can be filtered based on branch, subject, institute, seat, and institute. An unlimited number of choices can be added. Choices can be moved and deleted according to preferences. It can be rearranged according to the serial number.

The choices can be added from the left panel to the right side. The blue is for Government Institute, the Brown is for the SFI institute, and GQ is for Government Quota. After saving the choices, the candidates need to exit the choice pages. After exit, they can review the choices. By clicking on modify choices, choices can be modified. After typing 14 digits PIN Number, the choices can be locked.

The printout of choices is a must. The committee will only consider print-outs of locked choices whenever any query arises. The candidates can again Un-Lock choices after entering 14 digits PIN Number to modify the choices. If they fail to lock choices, it will be automatically locked on the last day.

The candidates (who have not been allotted any seat OR allotted seat but not confirmed OR confirmed his admission OR canceled his admission during previous round of admission) can participate in 3rd online mop-up round i.e., all the candidates who are included in the Merit-list of ACPPGMEC can participate in 3rd online mop-up round of ACPPGMEC except the candidates, who have secured admission in 15% AIQ/ Deemed/ Central Universities/ (MD/ MS/ (Ayurveda) and MD (Homoeopathy)) seats of other state counseling. It is not compulsory to cancel the admission of the previous round to participate in the 3rd round.

The candidates who want to participate in the 3rd and subsequent rounds must give online consent for participation in the 3rd online mop-up round; otherwise, the candidate will not be considered during the allotment process. The candidates must log in to the website www.medadmgujarat.org using their User ID and Password to give online consent for participation in the round.

According to the student's merit, the seats available for admission in the previous round/rounds will not be available in the 3rd round or any subsequent rounds. The candidates need to see the last rank of results of the previous round/rounds on website: www.medadmgujarat.org. They can change/swap/add/delete their filled choices of the previous round.

Suppose the candidate's admission is upgraded to the new seat. In that case, you have to take print of the allotment order of the 3rd online mop-up round and report to the same help center they reported in the previous round to get your new admission order. In case they don’t report to the help center within the stipulated time, their new allotment is treated as canceled. Hence in this scenario, they do not have admission to any seat.

Suppose the candidates, who have confirmed admission to the 2nd round and have given consent to participate in the 3rd online mop-up round, have been allotted a new different seat (upgradation of admission). In that case, the admission of the 2nd round will get automatically canceled.

Suppose the candidates, who have confirmed admission to the 2nd round and consent to participate in the 3rd online mop-up round, have not been allotted any new seats. In that case, the admission of the 2nd round will be continued.

The candidate who has participated or not participated in the 3rd online mop-up round, the admission 2nd round can also be upgraded in the same college and same subject by change of category (i.e., ST / SC / SEBC / EWS to General category or PwD to non-PwD seat), there is no need to report the help center for confirmation of admission.

The merit list for the 3rd round, non-reported seat list, and canceled seat list after of 2nd round has also been released. The detailed lists are enclosed in the notice below.
