Dr YSR University of Health Sciences invites applications for BAMS, BHMS admissions, Check out details

Andhra Pradesh : Dr. YSR University of Health Sciences has invited Applications from the candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria for admissions into Under Graduate Homoeopathy & Ayurveda Courses under Dr. YSR UHS for the academic year 2022-23 for AIQ (All India Quota) seats in Private Un-aided Non-Minority Homoeopathy (BHMS) & Ayurveda (BAMS) Colleges.

Qualification Criteria:

i. The candidates who have already got admission through AIQ counseling of AACCC, New Delhi are not eligible to participate in this counseling. If it is found that the ineligible candidate participated in this counseling, candidature of such candidate will be cancelled and will not be permitted in further counselings.

ii. The candidate must have passed intermediate (10+2) or its equivalent examination recognized by the concerned State Government and Education Board with the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English individually.

iii. Minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology at the aforesaid qualifying examination in the case of General category.

iv. 40% Marks in the case of the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Backward Classes.

v. The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years as on 31st December, 2022.

vi. The other rules and regulations that are applicable for AYUSH course will be applicable to BHMS & BAMS course. For further information, check the University website for prospectus of AYUSH course notified on 12.10.2022.

vii. In respect of persons with disability candidate specified under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 (49 of 2016), the minimum qualifying marks in the said qualifying examination are as follows: a) In Physics, Chemistry and Biology shall be 45% in the case of general category. b) 40% in the case of the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes. (for PWD candidates only).

viii. For PwD candidates, PwD certificate should be as per the guidelines issued by Central Government and notified by the CCIM/CCH. (available on counseling website namely www.aaccc.gov.in under FAQs)

ix. The candidates should secure the following cutoff scores in National Eligibility - cum - Entrance Test (NEET) UG -2022.

SCHEDULE

Registration fee:

1. The registration fee is Rs. 2360/-(2000/-+360/- GST 18%) + (Bank transaction charges extra), for all category students.

2. Fee once paid will not be refunded.

3. Candidates are advised to check their eligibility before applying by reading Prospectus carefully.

4. The fee can be paid through Debit card/Credit card/ Net Banking/UPI.

BAMS College:

Note: In case of any colleges of BAMS & BHMS, affiliated to the University is permitted by the Government of India for the academic year 2022-23, the seats in those colleges also will be filled up. No further Notification will be issued.

SELECTION PROCEDURE: All seats are in open in nature and there is no requirement for any domicile certificate as per the directions issued by the Ministry of AYUSH, vide F.No.L-14030/119/2022-EP(1),dt.12-10-2022 and F.No.L.14030/85/2022-EP(1), dt.27.10.2022.

The following Certificates are required to complete the application process. The certificates are to be scanned and kept ready to upload. Application fee has to be paid through online

7. Instructions to the candidates:-

a) The candidates are advised to download and read the Prospectus of the course and instructions for filling Online Application available in the University Website http://ugayushaiq.ntruhsadmissions.com/ before filling the online Application.

b) Scrutiny of uploaded data shall be done by the University and concerned Departmental Officials. After scrutiny of certificates, provisional merit list will be released and final merit list will be released later, after obtaining grievances if any from the candidates.

Note: The process of admissions into BHMS, BAMS Courses will be in accordance with the Orders issued from time to time by Government of A.P and Ministry of Ayush, New Delhi.

c) The On-line application form with the following lacunae will be rejected automatically. No communication will be sent in this regard.

a. Applications with incomplete details / photo and signature.

b. If any of the uploaded certificates are invisible/not properly uploaded.

c. If the certificates are not properly scanned due to which the eligibility criteria cannot be determined.

The certificates verification will be done basing on the uploaded scanned certificates. No separate notification will be given for verification of Original certificates. Verification of original certificates will be done by the colleges where seat is allotted.

Hence, the candidates should register and upload all the certificates without fail and verify once again before submission of online application.

d) The candidate should submit the Printout of the filled in Online application form, all Original certificates along with One set of self attested Copies to the Principal of allotted college at the time of joining for final verification. In case of any discrepancy, the Provisional allotment order will be cancelled without any notice. The candidates are informed not to send the print out of application form to the University.

8. Candidates admission is strictly provisional. The mere fact that the Merit position issued to him/her does not imply that his/her candidature is accepted by the University and it does not mean that the entries made by him/her in the online application are accepted as true and correct. The candidates eligibility for admission into BHMS, BAMS Courses for the academic year 2022-23 will be examined by the University officials and officials of the concerned department only basing on the uploaded scanned original certificates.

An in-eligible candidate obtaining Merit position does not make him/her eligible for admission.

9. If the information furnished by candidate in the application is incorrect, his/her candidature is Liable to be cancelled and further action that deems fit will be taken. If the certificates produced by any candidate are found to be fake / false/forged at any stage of verification or admission, the University has every right to cancel the seat / admission of such candidate without any notice.

10. In case of discrepancy in the downloaded provisional verification form, the same shall be brought to the notice of the University immediately.

11. Subsequent notifications with regard to web counseling will be notified on the University website only. Please visit the university website http://ugayushaiq.ntruhsadmissions.com/ regularly for subsequent notifications/ instructions till the completion of admission process.

12. The counseling for admission into above courses will be made to the colleges affiliated for the year 2022-23 and fee fixed by Govt. of AP and Ministry of Ayush, New Delhi.
