KNRUHS informs on Web-Options For Mop-Up Counseling of AYUSH UG Courses

Telangana: Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) has notified about exercising web options for the Mop-Up phase of counselling and free exit of candidates into BAMS/BHMS/ BNYS & BUMS courses under competent authority quota.

For the Mop-Up round, candidates can exercise web options on the website https://tsbahnu.tsche.in  from 19th April 2022, 6:00 pm till 20th April 2022, 3:00 pm. However, they should read the regulations and prospectus carefully before exercising web options available on the website and take a printout of saved options.

The candidates can exercise options for AYUSH courses in all the colleges as per their interest and eligibility. There is no limit to the number of options. One time password will be sent to the registered mobile number at the time of exercising web options. The password consists of 6 letter code with English capital A to Z.

The candidates can check the vacant seats available on http://knruhs.telangana.gov.in / https://tsbahnu.tsche.in.

All the eligible candidates whose names are notified in the provisional final merit list displayed on the KNRUHS website, including candidates registered after reduction of cutoff score of NEET-UG, are eligible to exercise web-options subject. Candidates who have secured admission in the previous phase of counselling and joined the course and continue in the course, who wish to slide to another college/course, also can exercise their options.

Candidates, while giving options, should note that apart from vacant seats notified, seats vacated by candidates sliding during this phase of counselling will be added and allotted simultaneously during this phase of counselling. The allotted seat in previous phases of counselling will be cancelled automatically if the candidates are allotted a seat in the Mop-Up phase of counselling as per their option.

If the candidates have been allotted seats in the previous phases of counselling and who have not joined/discontinued the course after joining cannot exercise options for that course in this round. Candidates admitted into UG AYUSH courses under AIQ and admitted into MBBS & BDS courses under KNRUHS cannot exercise web options.

Allotted candidates have to pay a university fee of Rs. 8000 online. They can pay through Debit Card/Credit Card/Internet Banking and download the allotment letter. The university fee, once paid, shall not be refunded under any circumstances. Candidates who have paid university fees in the previous phases of counselling need not pay again. Tuition fee is to be paid at respective colleges. The tuition fee payable is as notified by the Government of Telangana.

Candidates need to check their final allotment and take a printout of the allotment letter from the website. They will receive an SMS message on their registered mobile after allotment of a seat, if allotted and can also log in to check their allotment status on https://tsbahnu.tsche.in.

The candidates are informed that if they exercise web- options for a seat and are allotted a seat as per their choice of the web- options in this phase of counselling, and if they do not join the course at the allotted college, then they have to pay the penalty of Rs 100000 and also will be debarred for 3 years for UG AYUSH admission under KNRUHS.

The candidates can have free exit to discontinue from the course in to which they are admitted before 4.00 pm on 19th April 2022 without any penalty. However, their options will not be considered for the Mop-Up round of competent authority quota once they discontinue the course. If the candidates discontinue the course after 4.00 pm on 19th April 2022, a penalty clause will be applicable.

All the Principals of AYUSH Colleges can relieve any candidate who wants to discontinue from the course from competent authority quota admissions on written application from the candidate up to 4.00 pm on 19th April 2022 under intimation to the university. However, they will have to return the original certificates, bonds and tuition fee without penalty. This does not apply to AIQ admissions.

KNRUHS has asked the Principals of Ayush Colleges to up-load any such discontinued candidates' details to PMT Online and KNRUHS by mail by 4.30 pm on 19th April 2022.

The final verification of original certificates will be conducted at the college of admission, and in case of any discrepancy, the provisional allotment will be cancelled, and action may be initiated as per university regulations.

Selected candidates will have to report to the Principal of the respective college before the last date for joining as specified on the allotment letter and submit all original certificates and relevant bonds and pay the tuition fee/ college fee to complete the admission process. Suppose the candidate does not fulfil the above criteria to complete the admission process within the specified date for joining. In that case, the admission will be cancelled automatically, and a penalty will be applicable.

Candidates who have slid from one college/course to another college have to collect the custodian certificate, tuition fee/ college fee/ bond from the previous phase of admitted college and report to the college's principal allotted in this round of counselling to complete the admission process.
