KNRUHS Invites Online Application For BHMS Course For AIQ, Management Quota

Total 282 seats are vacant for the BHMS course for All India and management quota at KNRUHS.

Telangana: Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) has invited online applications for BHMS courses for Management and All India Quota (AIQ).

The candidates can apply up to 6:00 PM on 23-10-2023. The Registration and verification fee is Rs.2,000/- (Bank transaction charges extra) for OC, BC, SC & ST category candidates (Bank transaction charges extra) for All India Quota. Registration and Processing fee is Rs. 4000/- (Bank transaction charges extra) for management quota. The fee shall be paid online through a Debit card / Credit card or Net Banking.

The registration number sent to the registered mobile after entering the basic data should be noted for further use. The Registration number should be kept confidential and not to be disclosed to others.

The following Documents are required (PDF format) -

1. Admit card of NEET UG - 2023

2. Rank card of NEET UG-2023

3. SSC or equivalent examination containing the Date of Birth

4. Memorandum of marks of qualifying examination, i.e., Intermediate or Equivalent examination.

5. Latest Permanent Caste Certificate (Integrated Community Certificate) for BC/SC/ST Categories issued by the competent authority of their respective State. ( For cut-off score relaxation in eligibility criteria)

6. Aadhar Card

7. Transfer certificate (T.C)

8. Study Certificate(s) from 6th class to Intermediate

9. Latest Permanent Caste certificate issued by the competent authority of Govt. of Telangana, if applicable. Latest Category certificate in case of BC/SC/ST candidates issued by Competent Authority if applicable ( for NEET Cut-off score under category)

There are 4 steps to register for the UG admission program –

4. Uploading of Certificates

Eligibility  –

1. Candidates who have qualified in NEET- UG -2023 by securing the following marks of cutoff score or above have to apply for online registration and exercising options for All India Quota seats.

2. Candidates from all over the country are eligible for admission into Management Quota seats( Category -B and C) for the BHMS Course and as per CCH / KNR University of Health Sciences Regulations.

3. The candidate must have passed Intermediate (10+2) or its equivalent examination recognized by the concerned State Government and Education Board with the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English individually.

4. Minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology at the aforesaid qualifying examination in the case of General Category

5. Minimum of 40% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology at the aforesaid qualifying examination in the case of the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and other backward classes, including PWD candidates of these categories.

6. Minimum of 45% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology at the aforesaid qualifying examination in the case of PWD candidates of the General Category.

7. Candidates should have qualified at NEET UG – 2023.

8. The Candidate should have completed 17 years of age as of 31-12- 2023. The candidates who do not complete 17 years as of 31- 12-2023 are not eligible for admission.

Foreign Students / NRI candidates are eligible for admission into AYUSH Courses under Management Quota Category – CS eats. Candidates who have already applied for Convener Quota, if interested in Management Quota, have to apply separately.

Candidates possessing qualification of the University / Board of an institution outside the Telangana State should submit an Eligibility / Equivalence certificate from the Board of Intermediate Education of Telangana to the effect that the qualification possessed is equivalent to or higher than the Intermediate examination conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education of Telangana at the time of admission into the college.

Candidates possessing qualification of the University / Board of an institution outside INDIA should submit an Eligibility / Equivalence certificate issued by the Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi and an Eligibility / Equivalence certificate issued from the Board of Intermediate Education of Telangana, to the effect that the qualification possessed is equivalent to or higher than Intermediate examination conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education of Telangana at the time of admission into the college.

Candidates shall exercise web options in order of their priority. The seats as per the notified seat matrix shall be filled through web-based counseling by the Committee for Admissions as per merit from the candidates who have qualified in NEET UG – 2023 exam and applied in response to a notification by KNR UHS for Management quota seats ( B&C Categories).

The university will conduct verification of original certificates and notify the provisional final merit list on the website. The Selection Committee shall make provisional Selection constituted by the University. The selection committee will select the candidates as per the eligibility of the candidate and as per the priorities exercised by the candidate.

Candidate after selection has to download the allotment letter, report to the Principal of the allotted college before the last date for joining, pay the fees, submit original certificates and submit the bond to complete the process of admission.

Undertaking in the form of an Affidavit shall be submitted at the time of admission by the Parent and candidate stating that the submitted certificates are genuine and they will be held responsible for any further consequences as per law if any discrepancy is noticed.

Candidates may please note that the University will take up the verification of original certificates with regard to eligibility conditions, i.e., NEET UG-2023 Rank and other details as per uploaded relevant certificates by the concerned department officials.

AIQ - In case of any vacancies after the first phase of counseling, the same options shall be considered for the second phase. Any vacant seats after 2nd phase of counseling are reverted to State Quota.

AIQ - If an admitted candidate (of 1st phase) is allotted a seat in the 2nd phase of counseling as per his/her priority of options, the seat allotted in the 1st phase is automatically vacated and allotted to the next meritorious candidate. Admissions will be in accordance with the Government Orders and University Regulations. Candidates are directed to read the Regulations and Prospectus for admission into UG AYUSH courses notified on the KNRUHS website.

After allotment candidate will receive an SMS of allotment. The allotment list will also be displayed on the KNRUHS website. Candidates are informed to check the KNRUHS website for allotment notifications.

Allotted candidates should download the allotment order on payment of the University Fee by payment gateway, check the details of allotment and report to the Principal of the allotted college before the last date mentioned in the allotment letter. If the candidate fails to get admitted after allotment in the 1st phase of counseling, the candidate will not be eligible for 2nd phase of counselling.

Candidates shall submit the printout of the filled-in online application form, allotment order, Bonds and original certificates along with (1) set of self-attested copies to the Principal of the allotted college.

Candidate has to pay the college fee and tuition fee at the time of joining. The admission committee is responsible for scrutiny of the original certificates submitted by the candidate. In case of any discrepancy, the provisional allotment order for admission will be cancelled.

Candidates admitted in 2nd phase of All India Quota counseling are not permitted to leave/surrender their seat after joining the course. They are permitted to leave /Surrender the seat till the last date of free exit, notified by KNRUHS on the website, with forfeiture of the University and College fees. If the candidate cancels the admission/ discontinues the course after the last date for the free exit, the candidate has to pay a penalty of Rs. 1,00,000/- in addition as per State Government order, and they will not be eligible for BHMS admission under KNRUHS for 3 years.

As per Ministry of AYUSH Guidelines for allotment of AIQ UG seats in Private ASU & H Institutes: All AIQ UG seats of Private Homoeo colleges are open in nature. However, relaxation in the qualifying criterion may be considered category-wise, as mentioned above. Candidates' domicile certificate is not required for allotment of All India Quota seats in Private AYUSH colleges.

Candidates, after admission into a College, can withdraw from the course before the last date of free exit for Management Quota, AYUSH admissions are to be notified by the University on its website without any penalty.

University Fee –

Management Quota -

Candidates shall attend counseling as per the schedule notified by KNRUHS, along with all original certificates and DD towards the University fee. The selected candidates shall submit the crossed Demand Draft drawn in favour of “The Registrar, KNR University of Health Sciences”, payable at Warangal, as detailed below towards the University fee at the counseling centre.

All India Quota –

Allotted Candidates have to pay a University fee of Rs. 8,000/- for the BHMS Course through the payment gateway by using an online payment method. (Debit Card/Credit Card/Internet Banking) and download the allotment letter.

Tuition fee –

Management Quota -

As notified by the Government of Telangana (notified on the KNRUHS website).

The candidates selected against Management Quota Category-B & C Seats shall submit the tuition fee notified for the Management Quota seat on the day of reporting in the form of a Demand Draft in the name of the Principal of the respective college on the day of admission to the college. If the candidate fails to pay the tuition fee within the time of joining, the admission will be cancelled automatically.

All India Quota –

Tuition Fee is Rs. 40,000/- per annum as notified in G.O.Ms.No. 168, Health, Medical & Family Welfare (E1) Department Dated: 09-09-2017, issued by Government of Telangana.
