New Delhi: Through a recent notice, Ayush Admissions Central Counseling Committee (AACCC) has released the Counseling Scheme and FAQ's for Admission In AYUSH Post Graduate Courses 2021.

Ayush Admissions Central Counseling Committee (AACCC) of Ministry of Ayush, Govt. of India, New Delhi is conducting Online Counseling for the allotment of Post Graduate (MD/MS) seats to and AIAPGET qualified eligible candidates under All India Quota in participating Govt. / Govt. Aided Ayurveda/Homoeopathy/Unani/Siddha Colleges (15%), Deemed Universities (100%), Central Universities/National Institutes, and Institutional seats of BHU (50%) since 2019. The allotment of seats to the candidates is made based on the AIAPGET, 2021, Examination conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA).

As per the recent notice, the candidate can submit their application for AACCC-PG Counseling, 2021 by online mode only through the AACCC website (www.aaccc.gov.in) which can be submitted only once. Application submitted through any other mode shall be summarily rejected. Candidates are advised to fill out the application form on the AACCC website, on their own. d) The Candidate should ensure that all the information filled during the online submission of the application/registration form is correct and factual. AACCC shall not entertain, under any circumstances, any request for change/modify/edit/alter the information provided by the candidates. 

Registration facility shall be available at the beginning of 1st Round, 2nd Round & 3rd round/Mop-up round of AACCC-PG Counseling, on dates as specified in Counseling Schedule. Any request registration, shall not be entertained after the closing of registration. There will be no fresh registration for Stray Vacancy Round, which will be conducted by the DU/CU/NI.

The Security Deposit will be forfeited if a candidate has joined the allotted seat in the second Round & wants to exit from the respective institution or a candidate who has been allotted/upgraded a seat in the 3rd/Mop-up Round of AACCC-PG Counseling and does not join the respective institution or surrender the seat due to any unforeseen reason or if the admission gets cancelled due to any reason.

If a candidate joins the allotted seat in the 2nd Round and thereafter wants to exit from the institute, they need to resign from the respective institute 3 days prior to the commencement of Registration for 3rd /Mop-up Round of AACCC-PG Counseling with forfeiture of security money, to avoid disqualifying from further counselling. In case, a candidate fails to do so, they shall be ineligible for further counselling (Central/State/UT/Nominated). Once the candidate is allotted a seat in the 3rd Round/ Mop-up Round, he/she will not be eligible for exiting from the admitted/allotted seat and if so, they will not be eligible for any further Counseling. 

The selection and admission to Post Graduate seats in any ASU & H Institution recognized for running Post Graduate courses is subject to fulfilling the merit, admission criteria, eligibility, and such criteria as prescribed by the respective universities, ASU & H institutions, National Commission for Indian System of Medicine, National Commission of Homoeopathy, State/Central Government. Candidates are advised to confirm the fee structure/ any other additional fee from the colleges especially Deemed Universities before filling up choices for the same. 

All India Quota PG (MD/MS) seats of Private ASU & H Institutes (other than Deemed Universities) will be conducted by the counseling authority of the respective State/UT Government for the academic session 2021-22. For admission in All India Quota PG (MD/MS) seats of Private ASU & H Institutes/college (other than Deemed University), the candidates are required to contact the concerned State Government/Admission Authority.

AACCC has requested the candidates to check the website of AACCC for regular updates and for the AACCC-PG counseling registration process to use the same Mobile number/E-mail id used by them during registration for AIAPGET, 2021 examination on the NTA website.



 Types of Counselling and Rounds  -

All India Quota (15%) - 

  1. There will be three rounds of AIQ online counseling i.e. Round-1, Round-2, and Round- 3/Mop Tup Round.
  2. All candidates who have qualified AIAPGET-2021, Examination, conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), except the Union Territory of J&K will be eligible.
  3. The seats remaining vacant after Round 3/Mop- Up Round of AACCC-PG Counseling shall be transferred/sent back to the respective States/UTs.

Central Universities / National Institutes -

  1. There will be four rounds of counseling for Deemed University i.e. Round 1, Round 2, Round 3/ Mop-Up Round & Stray Vacancy Round. Out of the four rounds, three rounds will be conducted online by AACCC i.e. Round 1, Round 2, and Round 3/Mop-Up Round. 
  2. The Stray Vacancy round shall be conducted by the respective Deemed Universities.
  3. All eligible candidates who have qualified for AIAPGET-2021 examinations, including candidates from UnionTerritory of J&K, will be eligible. 

Delhi University seat allocation details - 50% Seats of ASU & H PG courses under Delhi University are deemed to be All India Quota, for which candidates from across the country shall be eligible. 50% Institutional quota seats of ASU & H PG courses under Delhi University are reserved for candidates who have completed their UG (BAMS/BUMS/BHMS) Degree course from Delhi University.

Roster details Delhi University - The roster on the 50% AIQ seats shall be applied by the AACCC, Ministry of Ayush. The roster on the 50 % DUQ seats shall be applied by the Delhi University, for which the AACCC shall not be held liable if any discrepancy arises.

Eligibility Condition for DUQ PG Seats: The candidate must have passed the final year BAMS/BUMS/BHMS examination from Delhi University and must have completed a one-year compulsory rotatory internship on or before 31st December 2021. The eligibility condition for DUQ seats is provided by the Delhi University, AACCC, M/o Ayush has no role to play in this regard.

BHU distribution of PG Seats - 50% Seats of Ayurveda PG courses under BHU are deemed to be All India Quota, for which candidates from across the country shall be eligible. 50% Institutional quota seats of Ayurveda PG courses under BHU are reserved for candidates who have completed their Degree course (BAMS) from BHU.

Roster details BHU -  The roster on the 50% AIQ PG seats and 50% Institutional Quota PG seats of BHU shall be applied by the AACCC, M/o Ayush.

Eligibility for BHU Institutional seats - The Institutional quota is allocated to only those students who have passed BAMS fourth professional examination held in 2020 in Faculty of Ayurveda, IMS, BHU and completed the internship in the year 2020-21 and provided the candidate has appeared and qualified in AIAPGET-2021 examination.

The reservation policy of the Central Government is applicable in 15 % AIQ seats of Govt. /Govt Aided ASU & H Colleges /Central Universities/ National Institutes includes S.C.- 15%, S.T.-7.5%, O.B.C.-27% (Non-Creamy Layer as per Central list), PwD-5% Horizontal Reservation, EWS-10% (as per Central Govt. norms). The certificate for PwD should be issued by the competent authority and as per the prescribed format of the Government of India.

Registration and Counselling Process - Candidates are required to register on the AACCC website and are required to use the same e-mail address and Mobile Number for registration on the AACCC portal for Counseling which was provided to NTA during Registration of AIAPGET, 2021, Examination. All the information/communication will be sent to the registered E-mail address or registered Mobile Number only.  Any request regarding a change of registered mobile number or email address is not allowed.

Round 1 Counselling Process Details - Only AIAPGET-2021 qualified candidates will be eligible to apply for the AACCC- PG counseling. The candidates need to register 1st. Then the counseling fee has to be paid. Choice filling and locking can be done after the fee is paid. Then seat allotment list will be released. Finally, the candidates will have to report allotted college. 

Round 2 Counselling Process Details - AIAPGET- 2021 qualified candidates who have not registered in Round-1, a candidate who registered for Round-1 and was not allotted any seat, candidates who have opted for free exit in the 1st Round, and candidates who joined the allotted seat in the 1st Round and submitted willingness for up-gradation in the 2nd Round are eligible. The candidates need to register 1st and the candidates who participated in 1st Round need not be registered again. Then the counseling fee has to be paid. Choice filling and locking can be done after the fee is paid. Then seat allotment list will be released. Finally, the candidates will have to report allotted college.

Round -3 / MOP Round - Process Details - AIAPGET- 2021 qualified candidates who have not registered in Round-1& Round 2, the candidate registered in Round-1/Round 2 & availed Free Exit, and candidates who joined the allotted seat in the 2nd Round and submitted willingness for up-gradation in the 3rd Round eligible. The candidates need to register 1st and the candidates who participated in 1st Round need not be registered again. Then the counseling fee has to be paid. Choice filling and locking can be done after the fee is paid. Then seat allotment list will be released. Finally, the candidates will have to report allotted college.

Final Seat Vacancy Round - Deemed/ National Institutes/Central Universities will conduct this round. 

The candidates will have to pay a Non-Refundable Registration fee - Rs.2000/-forAIQG/AIQGA/CentralUniversity/National Institute UR/EWS/OBC candidates, Rs.1000/-ForSC/ST/PWD`, and Rs.5000/-For Deemed University.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's)

Q.No.1. When will be the AACCC-PG counseling (online allotment process) start?

Ans: The Online allotment process will start as per the Schedule of AACCC-PG Counseling for the Academic Year 2021-22. Please see the Counseling Schedule available on the AACCC website (i.e. www.aaccc.gov.in)

Q.No.2. How to get registered on the AACCC website/Portal and how to fill Choices?

Ans: Candidates will have to log on to the website (www.aaccc.gov.in) to get registered and then fill-in choices. Please read and understand counseling scheme/FAQ's carefully, prior to online registration & choice filling. Further candidates may advise to make a tentative list as per their own preference ofcolleges/Courses after going through the seat matrix before choice filling/locking.

Please, also note that the registration facility will be available at the beginning of the 1st Round, 2nd Round, and 3rd/Mop-up Round.There will be no fresh registration for Stray Vacancy Round.

Q.No.3. How and when I have to make the payment?

Ans: After registration, the payment page appears automatically. Candidates can do online payment by Net Banking /credit card/ debit card only. After the successful completion of payment, the candidate can proceed with choice filling.

Q.No.4. Do I have to report to any counseling center for registration or choice filling? Ans: No, Online registration and choice filling can be done from the place of convenience (including from home) using a laptop/computer with an uninterrupted internet facility.

Q.No.5. Do I require any documents to get registered online?

Ans: Since it is an online allotment (Counseling) process, no documents are required. However, you need to fill up the same information that you have given at the time of registration for the AIAPGET, 2021 examination.

Q.No.6. How do I get password for logging in?

Ans: During the process of online registration, you will have to create your own password. Candidates are advised to keep the password confidential till the end of the counseling process. Candidate can change the password in the future as per convenience. Sharing of password can result in its misuse by somebody else, leading to even exclusion of genuine candidates from the online allotment process.

Q. No. 7: Difficulty in login, what may be the problem(s)?

Ans: Follow the instructions about the use of browser (Internet Explorer 8.0 and above, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome), use of same spellings, same format of date (use digits for day, month, and year with '–' in between) as in application form submitted at the time of registration of AIAPGET, 2021 Examination. The internet connection should be uninterrupted. If internet connection interruption takes place, the IP address which is being monitored will change and session expired message will be displayed.

QNo.8: I have difficulty in creating Password, what may be the problem(s)?

Ans: Create a password as per password policy. Please use the internet browser as suggested above (Q.No.7), as it is difficult to login from some other browsers. While creating password, use the 'Shift' key instead of the 'Caps Lock' key.

Q.No.9: If I forget the password that I have created how to retrieve it?

Ans: To retrieve the forgotten password, the system facilitates the following process:

Reset password using reset link via registered email

Candidate has to enter their AIAPGET, 2021 Roll No. If entered data (Roll No.) matches with backend database then system will send a reset password link to the registered email-id. After clicking the received link in their mail-inbox, candidates are required to follow the online instruction for resetting the New Password.

OR

Reset password using a OTP via SMS

Candidate has to enter their AIAPGET, 2021 Roll No. If entered data (Roll No.) matches with backend database then system will send verification code to the registered mobile no. Candidates are required to enter verification code if verification code matches with database then system will prompt for resetting New Password.

Q. No. 10: When I try to log in for choice filling/ submission, it says wrong Roll number/password, what may be the problem(s)?

Ans: This can happen if the roll number or password typed is incorrect. Password is case sensitive; therefore, use exactly the same password created earlier. In case password is forgotten, try to retrieve it by using the security question and its answer.

Q. No.11: Is there any restriction for filling up number of choices of Institutions and courses?

Ans: No, during online choice filling, you can give as many choices as you wish. However, choices of colleges/courses should be in the order of candidates' preference (higher to lower). There will be common software for AIQ/ Deemed/ National Institutes/Central Universities for filling up choices.

Q. No.12: Can I have some idea about the seat I am likely to get at my rank? Ans: You can have some idea from the following:

Please log on to the website (www.aaccc.gov.in)– from the home page-click on PG counseling tab. From News & Events section, you will get details of Course and category wise Opening and Closing rank of admission in ASU&H PG courses in the previous year i.e, A.Y-2020-21 (Excluding data of candidates admitted in Stray vacancy round). This will only be an indicative and the admission pattern for the current A.Y may vary as per the availability of PG seats in ASU&H courses.

Q. No.13: Is it necessary to fill up the choices and lock the choices to get seat allotted? Or I will be allotted seat automatically from left over seats?

Ans: After online registration, you have to fill in the choices of colleges/courses in order of your preference and lock it before server time.Once the choice is filled in, it can be modified before locking. If a candidate does not lock the choice submitted by him/her, it will be automatically locked as per schedule/ Server time. If you don't fill in choices even after registered in the AACCC portal, you will not be allotted any seat. Candidates can download/print out the locked choices for future reference.

Q. No.14. Can I modify my choices during the choice submission period for counseling? Ans: Yes, you can modify, add or delete your choices during the choice Filling/Locking period. Further, you are requested to do the same before locking the choices by yourself or by the System as per schedule/ Server time.

Q.No.15. If I have not locked my choices before the time specified in counseling schedule on last date of choice locking, what will happen to my choices?

Ans: The choices submitted and saved by you will be locked automatically on the last date of choice locking as per server time.

Q.No.16. How can I get printout of my choices?

Ans: Candidates are requested to login at AACCC portal and take printout of their choices which was locked by them during the choice filling /Locking period or after the specified time of the last date of choice locking.

Q. No. 17: If I locked my choices, later I want to modify/edit my choices, is itpossible?

Ans: Once candidates lock the choices, it is not possible to unlock the same even from the AACCC end. Hence, the candidate is advised to check all choices before locking.

Q.No.18. What about the condition of Stipend/fee structure/bond amount/rendering of service in rural/tribal area/other conditions?

Ans: Stipend/fee structure/bond amount/rendering of service in rural/tribal area/other conditions, etc. may vary from State to State and Institute to Institute. The allotment made through the online Counseling process will be firm and final. Therefore, the candidates should well aware of these points before opting for a seat at ASU & H Colleges. The AACCC shall neither be responsible nor entertain any case on the above grounds, if any made available on the Counseling website. However, before filling the choices, candidates are advised to visit the College website or contact the College Authorities directly for any query regarding the above information. Choices once locked cannot be modified and any request to AACCC regarding tinkering of choices will not be entertained.

Q.No.19. How much time will be given to join the allotted course/college?

Ans: Candidates who are allotted seats will be required to join the allotted College/Course within stipulated time from the date of allotment as mentioned in the counseling schedule. However, candidates are advised to join as early as possible and not to wait till the last day of joining, due to the different schedules of holiday/working hours in various ASU & H Colleges. In some of the Colleges it takes 4 to 5 days for completion of admission formalities.

Q.No.20. Whether my admission is valid if college admitted me on the allotted seat through offline mode?

Ans: No, AACCC will not entertain the admission made through offline mode by the college, in any circumstances. Therefore, candidates are advised to ask for provisional admission letter, generated through AACCC portal, at the time of admission to ensure that the college has admitted him/her through online mode.

Q.No.21.What documents are required at the time of joining in allotted ASU&H College? Ans: Original documents (along with attested photocopies of documents) required at the time of joining in allotted ASU&H College are as mentioned below:

i. Allotment Letter issued byAACCC

ii. AIAPGET-2021 Admit Card issued byNTA

iii. AIAPGET-2021 Result/Rank Letter issued by NTA

iv. Mark Sheet of Higher Secondary.

v. Mark Sheets of BAMS/BUMS/BHMS/BSMS1st, 2nd & 3rd Professional Examinations or 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th Professional Examinations (as applicable).

vi. BAMS/BUMS/BHMS/BSMS Degree Certificate or Provisional Certificate or undertaking from candidate to submit Degree Certificate after completion of Internship incase of candidate, who are completing their Internship by 31st of December, 2021(Extended due to Covid Pandemic for the academic year 2021-22 only).

vii. Internship Completion Certificate/Certificate from the Head of Institution or College that the candidate shall complete the Internship by 31st December, 2021.

viii. Permanent/Provisional Registration Certificate issued by CCIM/CCH/State Ayurveda/Siddha/Unani/Homoeopathy Board, Provisional Registration Certificate is acceptable only in cases where candidate is undergoing internship and likely to be completed the same on or before 31st December, 2021.

x. Proof of identity (Aadhar/ PAN/ Driving License/ Passport/ Voter ID )

Q.No.22. What are the instructions regarding EWS,OBC,SC,ST&PwD certificates as well as Reservation?

Ans: The certificate should be issued in the prescribed format by the competent authority.In case the candidate fails to produce Caste and PwD/EWS certificate in the prescribed format, if applicable, at allotted ASU & H College then he/she will not be permitted to take admission and his/her category will be changed in the next round, if otherwise eligible. Q.No.23. In case, I have Birth Certificate/CasteCertificate/othercertificate(s) in regionallanguage, will it be acceptable at the time of reporting/joining?

Ans: Certificates issued by the Competent Authority should be in English or Hindi language. Candidates are advised to carry a Certified Copy of the English version alongwith original certificate, in case the certificate issued is in other (Regional) language.

Q.No.24. If there is a discrepancy in spelling in documents and the application form, what can I do?

Ans: If there is discrepancy in spelling in documents, the candidate must carry an affidavit/undertaking to prove that the documents belong to the same person.

Q.No.25. At the time of admission, will my original certificates be retained by the allotted college/institution?

Ans: Yes, all the participating colleges/institutions have been instructed to retain original certificates of admitted students and release them only on up-gradation of the seat or resignation by the candidate.

Q.No.26. Is it necessary to join the allotted ASU&H College to get a chance to participate in the 2nd Round?

Ans: No, candidates need not report/join the allotted college in the 1st Round, since there is free exit. However, if he/she wants to hold the allotted seat in the 1st Round, he/she need to join the college physically and give up-gradation willingness for 2nd Round at the time of admission.

Q.No.24. If there is a discrepancy in spelling in documents and the application form, what can I do?

Ans: If there is discrepancy in spelling in documents, the candidate must carry an affidavit/undertaking to prove that the documents belong to the same person.

Q.No.27. What is the time period for free exit for admitted candidates of the 1st Round?

Ans:A candidate joined in the 1st Round allotted seat but has not been Upgraded in Round-2 may resign his allotted seat in 1st Round within five days of Round-2 Result announcement, failing which he/she will be considered as joined candidates for Round-2 and rules of Round-2 will apply accordingly.

Q.No28: What is the procedure for 2ndRound?

Ans: There will be fresh registration in the 2nd Round for candidates who have not registered in the 1st Round of Counseling. Further, those candidates who have availed free exit in 1st Round or candidate who have joined in 1st Round allotted seat and submitted willingness for up-gradation can submit fresh choices during 2nd Round choice fill in period, if they want up-gradation.

The candidates will be shown all choices including newly added seats (seats available against vacant seats and seats likely to be available- virtual vacancies which are likely to get vacated during up- gradation).

All eligible candidates, who desire to take part in the 2nd Round of online allotment, will have to submit fresh choices during choice submission period and lock the same during the period of choice locking. Eligible candidates will be allotted seats on the basis of his/her choice and merit. The choices of candidates, who have joined in 1st Round allotted seat and submitted willingness for up-gradation, would be initialized (the choices remaining after allotment, submitted before round-1 will stand cancelled), and candidates are required to submit fresh choices for up-gradation to 2nd Round. Choices which were filled during 1st Round will be null & void.

Q.No.29. Who is eligible for the 2nd Round of allotment?

Ans: Candidates eligible for seat allotmentin the 2nd Round would be from one of the following groups:

Group–I: Newly registered candidate for Round-2

Group-II: Registered candidates who did not get any seat in the 1st Round.

Group–III: Candidates who have reported at t h e allotted institute during 1st R ound and submitted willingness for 2nd Round up-gradation as 'Yes'.

Group- IV: Candidates who have been allotted aseat in 1st Round but not Joined/not reported. (i.e, availed 'free exit')

GroupVI: Candidates who have resigned from the allotted seat of 1St Round before the commencement of 2nd Round

Q.No.30. Do I have to fill-up choices of course and College to participate in the 2nd Round of the online allotment process?

Ans: Yes, eligible candidates must have to submit fresh choice(s) for consideration for seat allotment during the 2nd Round. If candidate does not submit fresh choice(s) during choice filling period, the candidate will not be considered for allotment of seat during the 2nd Round and will retain the already allotted (joined) seat in the 1st Round, if any.

Q.No.31. If I give consent for the 2nd Round up-gradation at the time of joining to 1st Round allotted seat and further my choice is upgraded in 2nd Round, is it necessary to join allotted college?

Ans: In case candidate is allotted seat during the 2nd Round of allotment process, the seat allotted during the 1st Round will be automatically cancelled immediately (i.e, allotted to somebody else).

If a candidate wants to hold the allotted/upgraded seat during 2nd Round he/she should have to join the allotted college after obtaining online generated relieving letter from the college allotted in the 1st Round.

If a candidate does not want to hold the seat allotted/upgraded during 2nd Round, then he /she need not to join the allotted seat and can avail the free exit.

If the candidate joins the allotted/up-graded seat in the 2nd Round, he/she can exit with forfeiture of security money within the stipulated period (i.e 03 days prior to the commencement of 3rd/Mop-up Round). If the candidate fails to do so, he/she will be ineligible for further AYUSH counseling (Central/State/ UTs /Nominated).

Seats can also be upgraded in the same college (same course) by change of category (i.e.ST/SC/OBC to UR or PwD to non-PwD), in such a case also the candidate has to take fresh admission on the upgraded seat, as per the procedure.

Q.No.32. If I opted for up-gradation during joining of 1stRound allotted seat, but later change my decision and want to retain allotted seat, how to avoid change/cancellation of already allotted college/seat?

Ans: The candidate need not fill any fresh choices for the 2nd Round, so the earlier allotted seat will be retained.

Q.No.33. If I opted for up-gradation in the 2ndRound/3rd Round of counseling at the time of reporting to 1st Round/2nd Round allotted college, whether my allotted seat (of 1st Round/2nd Round) will be cancelled?

Ans: Yes, if you opted upgradation at the time of reporting in 1st Round/2nd Round allotted college and fill in/lock fresh choices for 2nd Round/ 3rd Round counseling and your seat will be upgraded in the 2nd Round/ 3rd Round or Mop-up round (if applicable), the earlier allotted seat in 1st Round/2nd Round will automatically be cancelled and the same will be allotted to another candidate.

Q.No.34. If I get an upgraded seat during the 2nd Round/3rd Round of AACCC-PG counseling from 1st Round/2nd Round, can I join that college directly?

Ans: No, you will have to get an online generated relieving letter from the earlier allotted institute/college (of 1st/2nd Round), before joining the upgraded college/institution.

Q.No.35. In case, I get an upgraded seat but in the same college, because of a change of category, (e.g. from SC/ST/OBC to UR category) do I have to take admission on the upgraded/allotted seat again?

Ans: Yes, you have to get an online generated relieving letter from the earlier allotted seat and then get provisional admission letter, generated online, for the upgraded category seat; otherwise, your earlier seat would be cancelled.

Q.No.36. Is it necessary to join the 2nd Round allotted ASU&H College to get chance to participate in 3nd Round?

Ans: No, candidates need not report/join the 2nd Round allotted college, since there is free exit. However, if he/she wants to hold the 2nd Round allotted seat, he/she need to join the college physically and give up-gradation willingness for the 3rd Round/ Mop-Up Round at the time of admission of 2nd Round allotted college. Further, if a candidate wants to exit/resign from joined institute/course, he/she will be allowed to exit 3 days prior to the commencement of the 3rd Round with forfeiture of security money. If a candidate fails to do so, he/she shall be ineligible for further counseling (Central/State/UT's).

Q.No.37. If I joined the allotted seat in the 2nd Round, but later change my decision and want to exit, then am I eligible for further counseling (Central/State/UT)?

Ans: To avoid disqualifying from further counseling (Central/State/UT), candidate needs to relieve/resign from respective institute 3 days prior to commencement of 3rd Round/Mop-up Round with forfeiture of security money. In case, candidate fails to do so, he/she shall ineligible for further counseling (Central/State/UT).

Q.No.38. Am I eligible for further counseling, if I resigned from joined institute/ course allotted in the 2nd Round?

Ans: Yes, the candidate shall be eligible for further counseling if he/she resign/leave from the institute/ course allotted in 2nd Round 3 days prior to commencement of the 3rd Round/Mop-up Round with forfeiture of security money.

Q.No.39. Who will be eligible for "Exit with Forfeiture" option in 2nd Round?

Ans: If a Candidate joined in 2nd Round allotted seat and wants to exit, he/she may resign/leave with Forfeiture of Security Money 3 days prior to commencement of the 3rd Round/Mop-up Round to avoid disqualifying from further counseling (Central/State/UT). Further, candidate will be ineligible for further counseling (Central/State/UT) if he/she resign/leave beyond the permissible period (i.e, 3 days prior to the commencement of 3rd Round).

Q.No.40. I have registered in 1st Round, should I register again for 2nd Round & 3rd Round/Mop- Up Round?

Ans: No, only those candidates who have not registered in the 1st Round need to register afresh for the 2nd Round/3rd Round.

Q.No.41. Who will be eligible for the 3rd Round/Mop-Up Round of AACCC-PG Counseling?

Ans: The Following categories of candidates are eligible for 3rd Round/Mop-Up Round:

a) Candidates who are registering for the first time.

b) Candidateswho have registered but not been allotted a seat in Round-1 & Round 2.

c) All candidates admitted in Round 1 or Round 2 and opted for upgradation of their admitted seats (with fresh choice filling).

d) Candidates joined/not joined in 1st Round allotted seat and availed free exit option within stipulated period.

e) Candidate allotted seat in 2nd Round and availed free exit (not joined/ not reported).

f) Candidate resigned from the 2nd Round allotted seat, 3 days prior to commencement of the 3rd Round, with forfeiture of Security Money (Need to register afresh with payments of complete fees).

Q.No.43. What will happen to seats, which remain vacant after completion of the 3rd Round/Mop-up Round?

Ans: All India Quota seats of Govt. and Govt. aided institutions remain vacant after the last date for joining of 3rd Round counseling will be deemed to be converted into State quota.In the case of Deemed /CU/NI, list of eligible students, in order of merit, will be forwarded by AACCC, M/o Ayush to the concerned Institutes/Universities for the Stray Vacancy Round which would be exhausted strictly in terms of merit. Further, the list of ineligible candidates will also be circulated to concerned State/UT counseling authorities, National Institutes/CentralUniversities/Deemed Universities for prohibiting them in participating for further counseling. Q.No.44 Whether Up-gradation is allowed from the 2ndRound counseling to the 3rd Round/ Mop-Up Round AACCC-PG counseling?

Ans: Yes, Up-gradation is allowed from the 2nd Round counseling to the 3rd/Mop-upround. However, it is mandatory for the candidates to take admission on their upgraded seats in the 3rd Round/ Mop Up round from 1st& 2nd Round admitted seats. Such candidates, if not joined the upgraded seats, then their security money will be forfeited and will become ineligible for any further counseling (Central/State/UT/Nominated seat).

Q.No.45. Whether any Amount of fees will be deducted by the allotted institute, if I have been upgraded/re-allocated a seat from 1st /2nd round to 2nd/3rd or Mop-up round of AACCC-PG Counseling?

Ans: No, if a candidate got re-allocated/upgraded a seat from 1st /2nd round to 2nd/3rd or Mop- up round of AACCC - PG Counseling (i.e., either in the same institute or from one institute to another), no fees will be decucted by the allotted institute/college, from the remmited annual fees at the time of admission.

Q.No.46. Whether I am eligible for State/UT Counseling, if allotted a seat in the 3rd Round of AACCC-PG counseling?

Ans: No, if a candidate has been allotted/ upgraded a seat in the 3rd Round/Mop-up Round, he/she will not be eligible for any further Counseling. Further, it is mandatory for all candidates to take admission on their upgraded seats in the 3rd/Mop-Up Round from Round 1 & 2 admitted seats. Such candidates, if not join the allotted/upgraded seats, are ineligible for any further counseling (State/UT/Nominated seat, etc.) and their security money will be forfeited. Furthermore, the list of ineligible candidates will be circulated to all Central/State counseling authorities for prohibiting them to participate in any further counseling.

Ans: Yes, in case the candidate is not allotted any seat during AACCC-PG counseling, the Security Fees will be refunded.

Q.No.48. Who is ineligible for the Stray Vacancy Round of Deemed/Central Universities/ National Institutes?

Ans:

1. Candidates who already joined the allotted seat in Round I/Round II/ Round III of AIQ/Deemed/ Central Universities/National Institutions.

2. Candidates allotted a seat in 03rd/Mop Up Round.

3. Candidates who have not registered in any of the Previous 3 Rounds.

4. Candidates who are resigned from the allotted seats in the 2nd Round beyond the permissible period of exit (i.e., 3 days prior to the commencement of the 3rd Round).

Q.No.49. Who is eligible for the "Exit with Forfeiture" option in the 3rd/ Mop-Up Round? Ans: Candidate who has been allotted a seat in 3rd / Mop up Round but does not report at the college may Exit with Forfeiture. Further, a candidate who have been joind the allotted seat in the 3rd Round but wants to resign/ leave the allotted seat can avail Exit with Forfeiture (i.e. The refundable security amount will not berefunded). Q.No.50: What will be the eligibility criteria for admission in 50% Delhi University Quota (DUQ) seats & 50% Institutional Quota seats of Banaras Hindu University (BHU), which is being conducted by the AACCC, M/o Ayush?

Ans: The eligibility conditions for admission in 50% Delhi University Quota (DUQ) seats & 50% Institutional Quota seats of the Banaras Hindu University (BHU) will be as per the eligibility criteria given by the respective University at the time of counseling. Q.No.51: Whether there will be separate counselling for AIQ seats and 50% Delhi University Quota (DUQ) seats & 50% Institutional Quota seats of BHU, on separate days and separate platform?

Ans: No, there is common online counseling platform for AIQ of Govt. /Govt. aided/ Central University/ National Institutes/Deemed Universities as well as 50% Delhi University Quota (DUQ) seats & 50% Institutional Quota seats of Banaras Hindu University (BHU). Hence, those candidates, who are eligible for counseling of 50% Delhi University Quota (DUQ) seats or 50% Institutional Quota seats of Banaras Hindu University (BHU), should opt the choices in order of preference between AIQ and 50% Delhi University Quota (DUQ) seats or 50% Institutional Quota seats of Banaras Hindu University (BHU). The computer software will allot the seat in order of choice and merit of the candidate. Q.No.42. What is the procedure for the 3rd Round/Mop up Round Counseling?

Ans: There will be fresh registration in the 3rd Round/Mop up Round for candidates who have not registered in the 1st Round/2nd Round of Counselling. Further, those candidates who have opted up-gradation at the time of reporting to the 1st/2nd Round allotted institute/course can submit fresh choices during 3rd Round choice fill in period, if they want up-gradation. The eligible candidates will be allotted seats on basis of his/her choice and merit.

The seat matrix for vacant seats due to non-joining/non-reporting/vacating of the 2nd Round will be published on the AACCC portal and eligible candidates have to submit fresh choices. The candidates will be shown all choices (seats available against vacancy and likely to be available i.e., virtual vacancies which are likely to get vacated during up-gradation and also during the conversion of seats as per the following algorithm)
