PG AYUSH Admissions 2023: Maha CET Cell Releases Eligibility Criteria, Schedule, Application details for AIAPGET candidates

Maharashtra : The Maha CET Cell has released the Process of Online Registration, Online Payments and Document Uploading of Scanned Original Documents for Admission to M.D. /M.S. for All India Quota Seats in Private Unaided seats of Government aided Colleges and Private Unaided / Minority Ayurved/ Homoeopathy/Unani Institutions -2023 (ALL INDIA QUOTA)

As per the guidelines given by NCISM, New Delhi vide letter dated 06.09.2023 has authorized to the State Counselling Authority to conduct the counselling for admission in All India Quota (15%) Seats of Private Unaided Institutions and Privates Unaided Seats of Government Aided Colleges for the Academic Year 2023-2024.

It is hereby notified that for admission to M.D./M.S. Ayurved/ Homoeopathy/Unani Courses under All India Quota Seats, Online Application forms are invited from AIA PGET -2023 Eligible Candidates. Desirous Candidates are hereby notified to read the Instructions, Eligibility Rules and Register themselves as per the Schedule given below :

NO OFFLINE Application Form will be accepted for the further CAP of admission

Note : Schedule for subsequnet round(s) will be declared in due course. 

Rules for Admission :

1. There shall not be any requirement for Domicile Certificate in a particular State/UT or passing of BAMS/BHMS/BUMS in a particular State/UT for AIQ counselling.

2. Seats under All India Quota for Private Unaided Institute will be OPEN in nature. However, relaxation in qualifying criteria may be provided category wise as per Central Government List.

3. Candidates already registered for State Counselling if desirous for admission in All India Quota (AIQ) (15%) in Private Unaided Seats of Government Aided Ayurved Colleges and Private Unaided/Minority Ayurved/Homoeopathy/Unani Institutions for M.D./M.S. Courses for Academic Year 2023-24 will have to Register Again for All India Quota Seats.

4. All eligible candidates who desire to take part in CAP-2 (AIQ) of online allotment will have to submit fresh choices during choice submission period and lock the choices during period of locking.

5. Choices which were filled during CAP-1(AIQ) of preference filling will be NULL & VOID. Choice of CAP-1(AIQ) will not be considered under any circumstances.

6. Candidate Registered for CAP-1(AIQ) NEED NOT REGISTER AGAIN. However, candidates who had registered but not paid the fees will have to Register again as per the schedule.

7. State/UT Counselling Authority will conduct Two (02) Rounds for All India Quota Private Seats and vacant seats shall be converted into the State/UT Quota as per the instruction from Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, New Delhi.

8. Once you join CAP-2(AIQ) seat from minimum 15% All India Quota, you will not be allowed to vacate from allotted CAP-2(AIQ) seat. However, if you are allotted a seat in CAP-2(AIQ) in AIQ, but you have not joined, you can Exit without joining the allotted seat to participate in other counselling in such cases the security deposit will be forfeited.

9. Those candidates who have marked/claimed as a PWD candidate in the Online Application, he/she has to Upload/Submit Original Certificate of Disability at the time of Registration as per the format published by Ayush Admissions Central Council Committee website namely www.aaccc.gov.in under Counseling scheme and FAQs and State CET Cell (www.mahacet.org) website. The Certificate should be from the list of 16 Boards as mentioned. Certificate issued by any other Board/Civil surgeon WILL NOT be accepted.

Eligibility of the Candidates:

 The candidate must have passed final year UG examination from a recognized University or Board or medical institution specified in the Schedules to the Act and enrolled in Central or State register of Indian System of Medicine and must have completed satisfactorily one-year compulsory rotating Internship as on or before 31.10.2023 (for academic year 2023-23 Only).

 In order to be eligible for admission to post-graduate courses for an academic year, it shall be necessary for a candidate to obtain minimum of marks at 50th percentile in the All India Ayush Post Graduate Entrance Test, 2023 (AIAPGET - 2023): Provided that in respect of -

a) Candidate belonging to the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes, the minimum marks shall be at 40th percentile: 

b) Candidates with benchmark disabilities specified under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 (49 of 2016), the minimum marks shall be at 45th percentile for the General Category and 40th percentile for the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes. Besides this all colored scanned copies of Original Necessary Documents as mentioned in the list of documents has to be Uploaded at the time of Registration Process.
