CPS Mumbai Asks Students To Fill Out Online Exam Form For April 2023 Exams
Maharashtra: College of Physicians and Surgeons, Mumbai (CPS) has asked the students to fill out the online form for the CPS examination for April-2023.
All eligible CPS-enrolled students must submit the examination forms online through their respective CPS login. The form can be submitted till 13.3.2023 for the FCPS course and 15.3.2023 for the diploma course. The students should note that the CPS office in Mumbai will remain closed on Sundays and public holidays.
The process to submit the form –
1. The students need to login to their cps account on www.cpsmumbai.org (Login to online.cpsmumbai.org)
2. Take the print of the permission letter (for the reference of FRESHER students)
3. Go to the Examination menu
4. Click on Examination Form
5. Click on Add new and upload scan copy of the Last post completion (PDF format)
6. Click on Apply for Exam
7. Take a printout of your Exam form
8. Read all the guidelines (to be followed strictly during the examination) and undertakings given on the exam form and sign them. The students need to download a PDF file of the Guidelines.
9. Come to the CPS office in Mumbai in person for document verification with all necessary documents (Original + xerox)
Further, CPS exams are scheduled from 3.4.2023 for the FCPS course to 4.4.2023 for a diploma course. All Exam repeater students must submit the examination form again to appear for the examination. Students must visit the CPS office in Mumbai in person for document verification with all necessary documents (Original + Xerox). CPS staff will verify the hard copy of documents and then after only will give payment options for the exam fee.

For Freshers -

4. Affidavit (if applicable)
For Repeaters –
1. Signed Examination form (Form without candidate signatures will not be accepted)
2. Last examination failed mark sheet
3. Enrollment Receipt
In case of inability to come in person for verification of documents, a person other than the student should bring an authorization letter. Format of affidavit to be submitted along with examination form by the students whose last post will complete after the later date for submission of examination form.
CPS STAFF will verify documents and give payment options for exam fees. Once the student gets the "Pay Fee" option in the Examination Form, a student may pay examination fees online. (Online payment of fees is preferable).
Guidelines for online payment of fees –
1. The CPS website links to a secure payment gateway to collect your fee payment. Upon completing the payment transaction, you will be redirected to the CPS website with the fee receipt. Please save and print this receipt for reference.
2. If the transaction is successful and the amount is deducted from the bank account, but the students are not redirected to the CPS website with the fee receipt, wait 1 hour. Do not reinitiate payment or refresh the page to avoid duplicate charges.
3. If any queries regarding the online payment of examination fees, please e-mail cpsonline@cpsmumbai.org (It is mandatory to mention your correct enrollment no. in the e-mail).
4. Students who cannot pay examination fees online may submit the DD of examination fees to the CPS office in Mumbai before the last date of the examination form. DD should favor the "College of Physicians and Surgeons of Mumbai" and payable at Mumbai.
5. Receipt of fees by DD will be subject to clearance of DD.
CPS is not responsible if the DD does not reach the Mumbai office within the stipulated period. The examination forms submitted without payment of fees will not be considered for further processing. It may be rejected on the grounds of non-receipt of required documents within the stipulated time.
The examination timetable will be uploaded on the CPS website in time. The Theory and Practical examination venue shall be displayed on the website in due period.
The students are recommended to wear light clothes with half sleeves only. Long sleeves are strictly forbidden. Shoes are also not allowed in the examination hall. Therefore, students must wear sandals with a low heels or footwear without thick soles. The students who cannot follow these rules due to religious commitments must report at least 1 hour before to avoid delay in the Frisking process.
No other documents will be permitted inside the examination center beside the CPS 2023 admit card and ID proof. Each student will be given a ballpoint pen, pencil, eraser, sharpener, and ruler (small) to write the exam in the exam room. They will be provided with the answer books 15 minutes before the examination so that they can complete the detailed information on it. They will need to fill in the details on both answer books.
There will be a seat assigned to each candidate with a roll number. It is essential that each candidate finds their designated seat and occupies it promptly. The students are advised to maintain a firm, upright posture. The exam hall is under CCTV surveillance. Any student found to use unfair means will be debarred from taking the examination, and the action to be brought against the student shall be decided.
The student must enter the exam center according to the scheduled time. After that, no candidates will be permitted to enter. Students must ensure they do not possess the restricted items mentioned below.
The authority provides no safekeeping facilities. The students will not be allowed to leave the exam center before it is over. They will be provided with two Answer books at the start of the theory examination. The candidates must write each section on separate answer books. CPS will provide drinking water in the exam hall.
The following items are prohibited during the exam –
1. No stationery items, prints, or other items besides the admit card, ID proof, or transparent writing pad are allowed inside the exam center.
2. Items like geometry boxes, pencil boxes, calculators, pens, scales, pen drives, erasers, and so on will not be allowed inside the exam center.
3. Communication devices such as mobile phones, Bluetooth, earphones, pagers, health bands, etc., are strictly prohibited.
4. Items such as watches, wallets, bags, handbags, belts, caps, and ornaments cannot be carried.
5. Other items, like microchips, Bluetooth, and cameras, which may be used for unfair means, are prohibited from exam halls.
