CPS Mumbai postpones Advanced NRP Course Scheduled For 15th April, details

Maharashtra: College of Physicians and Surgeons, Mumbai (CPS) has announced the postponement of the Advanced NRP Course.

Per the notice, the course scheduled for 15th April 2023 has been postponed due to un-avoided circumstances until further notice. The next schedule has not been announced yet.

The registration process for Advanced NRP Course got over on 24th March 2023. Those members of the Indian Academy of Pediatrics (IAP) were allowed to register for free, and non-members could still participate by becoming a member of IAP by paying a fee of Rs. 10000 only. There are only 42 seats for the course.

The IAP provides facilities to students, scholars, and institutions to study or research in pediatrics through scholarships, fellowships, grants, endowments, etc. Either through itself or in cooperation with other bodies or persons, fellowships, prizes, certificates, diplomas of proficiency in the science of Pediatrics and conduct such tests, examinations, or another scrutiny as may be prescribed from time to time. It was established in 1963 in Mumbai.

College of Physicians & Surgeons of Mumbai was established in 1912; it is an autonomous body imparting Postgraduate Medical Education and offers 10 Fellowship, 17 Diplomas, and 2 Certificate Courses. It is located in Mumbai near KEM Hospital and caters to doctors from all over India. The qualifications granted by CPS Mumbai allow the Practitioner to register themselves as specialists in the specialty concerned upon duly completing the tenure of 2 years Diploma or 3 years Fellowship and passing the exit examination prescribed.

The following courses are available – FCPS (MED, MID-GY, OPTHL, CH, DERMT, ORL, ORTHO, ANAES, PATHO), DGO, DCH, D ORTHO, DMRE, DDV, DOMS, DORL, TDD, DA, DPM, DGM, DGS, DTHM, DPH, DFP, C- DIAB, C- HIV.
