ACPPGMEC begins Round 1 MDS Counselling 2021

Gujarat: Through a recent notification, the Admission Committee for Professional Postgraduate Medical Educational Courses (ACPPGMEC) has informed about the 1st round of online choice filling and allotment in the first year MDS courses for the academic year 2021-22.

The tentative seats are available for various branches of dentistry that are community dentistry, conservative dentistry, Oral and maxillofacial dentistry, oral medicine and radiology, oral pathology, orthodontics, pedodontics, periodontics, prosthodontics.

As per the notice, all the eligible candidates included in the Merit List of ACPPGMEC, for admission of Government Seats, Management Seats and NRI Seats of Dental Post-Graduate Courses in Government and Self-Financed Dental Colleges for the academic year 2021-22, scheduled for 1st round of online choice filling, allotment and reporting are as follows:

The Help Center working hours are 10.30 am to 3.30 pm (on working days only)

The guidelines for Choice Filling are as follows:

• Online allotment of seats is done on the basis of merit cum choice

• Choice can be decided on following criteria

a) Specific Branch

b) Specific Institute/Place

c) Government or SFI

d) Choice on the base of fees

• In the choice filling of Second round, Allotment of seats will be carried out as per the Closure of first round, irrespective of choices filled in by candidate of first round.

• Closure of present round will be displayed along with allotment result of that round.

• If candidate is failed to confirm the admission on allotted seat due to any reason, such candidate shall not be eligible to get admission in the same subject in the same institute in the successive rounds of counselling.

For Filling the choice following steps are to follow:

Step 1: Visit the official website of ACPPGMEC and go to the online services to login into your account.

Step 2: The registered user login box appears then the candidates have to enter their USER ID (SR NO. of PIN), password, 14 digit PIN, captcha & click on submit button.

Step 3: After the login, the choice details option appear, click on choice details for options that are:

• Available Choice: you can see all available choices

• Fill choice: to start your choice filling process

• Print filled choice: after locking your choices you can take the printout of your choice list.

Step 4: Available Choice: you can see all available choices

• Please check annual fees and term fees

Step 5: Fill Choice: you can fill the choice

Box 1: Filter your choices by branch, subject, institute type (Blue: Govt. Institute; Green: SFI institute), seat type (GQ: Government Quota; MQ: Management Quota; NQ: NRI quota) and institute.

Box 2: Add your choices, you can add the unlimited number of choices.

Box 3: You can move and delete your choices according to your preference.

Box 4: You can re-arrange your choices by serial number. Click on the Save button to save the choices.

Fill Choice: Click "add" in left side panel ⇒ choice will be shifted to right-side panel 

• After save and exit choices page, you can review your choices.

• Click on modify choices to modify your choices.

• After typing 14 digit PIN no., you can lock your choices.

Step 6: Box 1: You must take print-out of your locked choices. Whenever any query arises, the committee will consider print-out of your locked choices only.

Box 2: You can Un-Lock and modify your filled choices after entering 14 digit PIN No. till time and date decided by ACPPGMEC. If you fail to lock choices it will be automatically locked on last day.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTION FOR CHOICE FILLING

All candidates are requested to follow the choice filling of counselling as per his/her desire with/without considering the seat matrix available on the website because:

1. Vacant NRI seats will be converted to Management seats

2. Vacant Management seats will be converted to Government seats

3. Vacant Institutional seats (Open/SC/ST/SEBC/EWS) will be converted to respective CATEGORY of State seats (Open/SC/ST/SEBC/EWS).

4. Vacant Reserved Category State seats (SC/ST/SEBC/EWS) will be converted to OPEN State seats

5. Vacant In-service/PWD seats will be converted to State seats in their respective category

6. Above procedure will be followed during the allotment process.
