BFUHS to End NEET MDS 2024 Special Stray Vacancy Round Counselling Registration Today

Punjab- The Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) is going to end the registration process for the special stray Vacancy Round of PG Dental online Punjab State counselling under the National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Master of Dental Surgery (NEET MDS) 2024.

The qualifying percentile for MDS Courses for NEET MDS Counseling 2024 has been reduced by 21.692 across all categories by MoHFW. In this regard, BFUHS has released a fresh schedule for the Special Stray Vacancy Round. As per the schedule, the fresh online registration/application and deposition of application and security deposit for fresh applicants along with the fee of Rs. 5000+18%GST(Rs. 5900/-) and Rs. 2500+18%GST(Rs. 2950/- for SC candidates) through university payment portal is ending today i.e. 14th October 2024 at 5.00 PM.

Therefore candidates are requested to fill out the application form and submit the registration fee before the time ends. Additionally, fresh registered candidates will have to submit willingness along with a security deposit for a special Stray Vacancy Round.

The last date for submitting willingness along with a security deposit by all the candidates (already registered candidates and fresh applicants). The amount of security to be deposited for submitting willingness will be as under-

For Government colleges - Rs. 25000/- (Rs. 10000/- for SC/BC).

For both Govt. &Private Colleges – Rs. 2,00,000/-.

For Private Colleges – Rs. 2,00,000/- Note: The vacant seat matrix will be displayed on the University website &Student Login ID

Last date of correction/editing in the online filled application form. Thereafter application will be locked automatically. Once information is filled and locked, will not be allowed to change in any round of counseling. Note: Thereafter no request for change/amendment in the data will be accepted.

The provisionally selected candidates will pay the balance amount of the fee (A six-month fee after deducting the amount of the security deposit) through the University Payment Gateway available on the University website and will report to the respective allotted college for joining.

Upto 25 October 2024

It is to be noted that if a candidate is allotted a seat in the Special Stray round, they have to join the allotted seat/college. If the candidate does not join the allotted seat, he/she shall be debarred from the NEET examination for 01 Year along with forfeiture of fees. In addition, the candidates, who will be allotted seats by MCC in the Special Stray Vacancy Round of All India Quota, will be debarred from Punjab State Special Stray Vacancy Round.

Along with this, BUFHS has also released the tentative seat matrix for the Special Stray Vacancy Round under NEET MDS-2024. As per the seat matrix, a total of 29 seats are vacant across MDS Courses. Below is the detailed seat matrix-
