Fresh option registration is available only for three colleges under the self-financing category.
In the Second Round Counselling, there is no facility for fresh option registration for the candidates, except for the three colleges under the self-financing category. Only option confirmation/deletion/rearrangement is possible for the existing options. Option confirmation is compulsory to participate in Round 2. If a candidate is allotted a seat in the first round and joins the allotted seat, his/her higher options will be retained and all those options listed below the allotted options will automatically be deleted, thus enabling only upgradation/retention in the same seat.
Candidates allotted to courses should take admission in the college/course allotted after remitting the fee/balance fee as per the schedule prescribed by the CEE. No extension of time for reporting to the college will be granted under any circumstances. The candidates are liable to pay the admission fee as prescribed by the University concerned at the time of admission.
Meanwhile, fresh option registration will be available during the third (final) round, but with a fresh option registration fee amounting to the annual tuition fee of the seat opted, if opted only for a Government seat or an amount of Rs 1,00,000/- if opted also for a seat in a Private Self-financing Medical College. The conversion of seats, if any, will be carried out during the final round of allotment. The registration fee paid for the final round allotment of those candidates who do not join the seat allotted in the final phase allotment will be treated as a penalty and will not be refunded.
Candidates who do not take admission in the last phase of allotment or candidates who file/retain unnecessary options & do not take admission on allotment to the Course/College during the final phase of allotment as notified by the CEE, resulting in Government seats in government/ self financing colleges allotted by the CEE to lapse, will also be not eligible for refund of fees. They will also have to pay liquidated damages.
The allotted candidates of round 1 who have not taken admission in the respective colleges within the stipulated time and those candidates who have quit the seats after taking admission, will lose their present allotment as well as all the higher order options and will not be considered for round 2 allotment procedures. The registration fee of such candidates who did not join within the stipulated time after getting the allotment and those candidates who quit the seats after taking admission is considered as penalty and will not be refunded.
