MDS admissions 2026: DME Chhattisgarh to close registrations on August 29, choice filling on August 30

In this regard, DME Chhattisgarh has issued a notice laying down the registration, choice-filling, merit list, allotment, scrutiny and admission timeline for candidates seeking MDS seats under the state counselling process.

As per the official notice, candidates can complete online registration and fee payment till 29 August 2026, while the choice filling and locking window will remain open till 30 August 2026.

The online application fee has been fixed at Rs 2,000, and payment can be made through available digital modes, including net banking, debit card, credit card and UPI.

According to the tentative schedule annexed to the notification, the merit list will be published on 31 August 2026, followed by the Round 1 allotment result on 1 September 2026.

Candidates allotted seats will then have to complete scrutiny and admission at the respective institutes from 2 September to 7 September 2026. Below is the detailed schedule-

ROUND 1 COUNSELLING SCHEDULE

Aapplicants are advised carefully go through the applicable Chhattisgarh MDS admission rules before filling their forms and choices. Candidates must ensure that the information entered during registration is correct, as eligibility and documents will be scrutinised during the admission process. 

The notification also carries the college-wise and quota-wise MDS seat matrix for the 2026 admission session. At Government Dental College, Raipur, there are 26 MDS seats, of which 13 are under All India Quota (AIQ) and 13 under State Quota.
