UP DGME Notifies Fee Structure for BDS Courses in 19 dental colleges, check details

Uttar Pradesh- Through a release, the Uttar Pradesh Medical Education and Training (UPDGME) has informed regarding the fee prescribed for the academic session 2025-26 in the Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) Courses.

As per the release, a committee for fee regulation was constituted under the chairmanship of the Principal Secretary, Medical Education Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh, for the determination of the fee of private sector medical and dental colleges under the Medical Education Department.

On this, a meeting of the Fee Regulation Committee regarding the determination of fees for BDS courses of the academic session 2025-26 of non-minority dental colleges in the private sector was held on 04 February 2025, 04 March 2025, 12, 25 and 26 March 2025, 16 June 2025 and 20 June 2025 respectively.

Therefore, on the basis of the proposals provided by the Committee regarding the determination of fees by the dental colleges and the principles enunciated for the determination of fees, the Governor is pleased to notify the prescribed fee of the BDS course for the academic session 2025-26 of non-minority dental colleges in the private sector.

However, the above fee includes mess charges. Not more than two students will be kept in one room. Students will be provided breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food will be nutritious and varied.

SECURITY DEPOSIT (REFUNDABLE)

Including hospital, library, laboratory and all other security amounting to Rs. 3,00,000/- should be paid one-time.

MISCELLANEOUS FEES- Rs 44,000/- per annum

Miscellaneous fees include all types of fees and charges such as university registration, development fees, library fees, student association fees, gym and sports fees, admission fees, examination fees, etc. Apart from the above, no other fees will be charged by the college.

The tuition fee will be collected from the students every year, and in no case will the tuition fee be collected in a lump sum in advance. The concerned dental college is free to charge a lower fee than the fee prescribed above.
