DME Assam Releases Application Form For Internship Training Of FMGs
Assam: The Director of Medical Education (DME Assam) has released the application form for internship training of Foreign Medical Graduates (FMGs).
As per the notice, the application form can be downloaded from the official website of https://dme.assam.gov.in/. The application, with necessary, must be submitted to the Director of Medical Education, Assam, Sixmile, Khanapara, Guwahati-22 (2nd Floor), Room No. 5, on or before 25.3.2023. The candidates are requested to acquire an acknowledgement receipt from the concerned after submission of their application form.
In the application, the candidates are asked to fill name, father's/guardian's name, date of birth, address, district, state, phone number, email id, name of the institute, university from where MBBS or equivalent degree is passed, year of passing MBBS or equivalent degree, year of passing the test of FMGs, marks obtained in the screening test of FMGs, and institute of preference.
The application is invited from candidates who are permanent resident of Assam and who have passed their MBBS (Part-II) final examination or equivalent degree from institutes outside India (Foreign Medical Graduates) and has cleared the FMG screening test conducted by NBE, New Delhi, and intending to undergo 1 (one) year Compulsory Rotatory Internship Training from Government Medical Colleges of Assam.
The Directorate of Medical Education, Assam, Training and Research, Assam was established in 1984 under the control of the Health & Family Welfare Department, Government of Assam. It promotes expertise in medical science in different streams like Allopathic, Ayurvedic, and Homoeopathic medicine and paramedical science, and health care facilities to the people of Assam through different hospitals under the Directorate. It promotes research in medical science in the state of Assam.
