Tripura: Through a recent notification, the Directorate of Medical Education (DME Tripura) has invited applications from eligible candidates for Ultrasonography (USG) Competency-based Assessment of Registered Medical Practitioner.

The Competency based Assessment for already registered Medical Practitioners who are conducting Ultra Sound procedure in Genetic Clinic or Ultra Sound Clinic or Imaging Centre on the basis on the basis of 1(one) year experience or 6(six) Months Training which has already been obtained from a Teaching Institution recognized by NMC/MCI from Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology or Radiology as per pre conception and Pre Natal Diagnostic Techniques(Prohibition of Sex Selection) (6 months Training) Rules, 2014 and as per Notification of Ministry of Health & Family Welfare(Department of Health & Family Welfare) New Delhi, dated 26-06-2020 and 31st March, 2021 and as per Notification No.7(43)-DME/TRG/2020-21 dated 07-10-2021 is scheduled on March, 2022 at Agartala Govt. Medical College.

Application are invited from the eligible candidates in the Application Format( attached in the document below) with Registration Fees to be submitted to the Directorate of Medical Education, Government of Tripura on or before 17th March, 2022 (Thursday).

The date of the said Assessment will be on 23" March, 2022(Wednesday) at Agartala Govt. Medical College. 

The Eligibility Clauses may be as follows:

1) The Candidate shall have to be a MBBS Doctor/Registered Medical Practitioner.

2) The Candidate must be a Citizen of India and Permanent Resident of Tripura.

3) The candidate must obtained MBBS Degree from any University duly recognized by erstwhile MCI/NMC and have got Registered with MC/NMC/TSMC.

4) The Candidate, who was conducting Ultra Sound procedure in a Genetic or Ultra Sound Clinic or Imaging Centre on the basis of minimum I(one) year experience or 6(six) months Ultra Sonography Training which have already been obtained from teaching Institution from Department of Obstetrics & Gyanecology and OR Department of Radiology recognized by MCI/NMC.

A candidate must satisfy the above 4(four) number of Eligibility Clauses.

In the event, a Candidate with minimum l(one) year experience certificate as stated in Clauses 4 but could not qualify n the Competency Bases Assessment after 3 (three) Attempts, he/she will have to undertake and complete their 6(six) months USG Training to get Eligibility to appear again in the Competency Based Assessment at the end of their 6 (six) Months USG training within stipulated time as per existing PC & PNDT Rules & Act.

Registration Fees: Rs.2,000/-(Rupees two thousand) only may be paid through Bank Draft of any Nationalized Bank in favour of Director of Medical Education, Government of Tripura which shall have to submitted by the Applicant(Candidate) at the time of submission of their Application for consideration of their candidature.

The Time of the said Test for a candidate will be published shortly in the Director of Medical Education, Govt. of Tripura website www.dme.tripura.gov.in
