JIPMER Invites Submission Of Proposals To Scientific Advisory Committee For January 2024
Puducherry: Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research (JIPMER) has invited submission of proposals to the JIPMER Scientific Advisory Committee (JSAC) for the month of January 2024.
As per the notice, the last date for submitting the proposal is 21.12.2023. The first meeting of the JIPMER Scientific Advisory Committee (JSAC) will be held tentatively on 4th January 2024.
Prior to submission of the proposals to JSAC, all the proposals are required to be discussed in their respective department, and a “review certificate” along with the attendance sheet of the review meeting should be attached to the JSAC proposal.
The applicants need to use the combined format comprising Section - 1 (for JSAC), Section - 2 (for Intramural Research Fund Committee). Please fill in both Sections. The combined format link is mentioned in the notice below.
An original hard copy of the research proposal and a Xerox copy of the same, along with a covering letter addressed to the Dean (Research) have to be submitted. The hard copy should be typed using both sides of A4 size paper, in 11 font size with 1.5 spacing and page numbering. A soft copy of the proposal should be mailed to jipmerjsac@gmail.com with a cc to their respective Head of the Department.
There can be only one co-investigator from the same department to discourage gift co-investigatorship. It applies to both the department of primary investigator and the department of collaborating investigator.
Research proposals deviating from the format will not be accepted. No subsequent modification of the proposals will be accepted. Only citing and listing references as per the ICMJE (International Committee of Medical Journal Editors) style will be accepted.
