JIPMER issues notice on Submission Of Annual Status Report, Study Completion Report Of Approved Projects To IEC Interventional Studies

Puducherry: Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research (JIPMER) has announced the submission of annual/periodic status reports and study completion reports of the approved projects to the IEC Interventional Studies.

Annual/periodic status report -

All the faculty, PhD scholars, and postgraduate and undergraduate students need to submit an original copy of the annual/ periodic status report of their research projects in the proforma enclosed in the notice below for both ongoing and completed projects, approved on or before April 2022 to the Member Secretary, Institutional Ethics Committee - Interventional Studies. This has to be submitted on or before 14.7.2023.

A soft copy needs to be sent through mail at iechumanstudies@jipmer.edu.in. The guide and head of the department must forward the annual/periodic report.

Study completion report –

All faculties, MD, MS, DM, MCh, UG students, PG students, and PhD scholars who have completed their approved projects before May 2023 need to submit one original copy of the study completion report of their research projects in the proforma (enclosed in the notice below) mentioned to the Member Secretary, Institutional Ethics Committee - Interventional Studies. This has to be submitted on or before 5.7.2023.

A soft copy needs to be sent through mail at iechumanstudies@jipmer.edu.in. The annual/periodic report must be forwarded by the guide and head of the department.

The Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research is a medical school located in Pondicherry. It is an institute of national importance (INI) and a tertiary care referral hospital. It is under the direct administrative control of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and the Indian Government, with autonomy to run its internal administration. The courses include undergraduate, postgraduate, super specialty, fellowships, PhD programs, post-basic diplomas, and certified courses.

JIPMER originated in the year 1823 as the Ecole de Medicine de Pondicherry, established by the French Government. It was renamed Dhanvantari Medical College in 1956 at the time of the de facto transfer of Pondicherry to the Government of India. It was established on its current campus in 1964 and is spread over 1922 acres.
