New Delhi- Through a notice, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the list of INI-SS candidates whose resignation has been allowed by the MCC.

The list has been attached to the notice issued in this regard, according to which MCC has informed that till now, a total of 53 INI allotted candidates have been allowed to resign from the Round-1 or Round-2 seats allotted through MCC, after verification of their documents.

However, this is the first list, and more lists will be uploaded as the scrutiny of documents received is in progress. Therefore, the candidates whose names are mentioned in the list, if they want, should approach their allotted college to resign and collect their original documents within the stipulated time.

Meanwhile, it should be ensured by the candidates that the resignation letter is generated ‘Online’ from the MCC portal by the college authorities. Any offline resignation taken by the college will be treated as ‘Null & Void’.

Medical Dialogues earlier reported that that the facility of resignation was being provided to INI allotted candidates who have also joined the seats allotted through MCC in Round-1/ Round-2 of All India SS Counselling 2024.

This has been done after MCC has received many resignation requests from SS candidates who have been allotted INI seats, the notice stated. Therefore, INI allotted candidates who want to resign their Round-1 or Round-2 seat allotted through MCC should send their INI-SS rank letter along with the undertaking to MCC by email from today, i.e. 18 June 2025, 12:00 Noon of upto 12:00 Noon of 21 June 2025. Candidates who send mail along with the required documents will only be allowed to resign from their joined seat.
