AIIMS Announces Final Result Of PhD Entrance Exam July 2023 Session, Counselling To Be Held On 23rd September
Delhi: All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has announced the final result of the PhD Entrance Examination July 2023 Session.
The result includes Roll No, Eligible For Projects with [Fellowship Available in the project (FA), Own Govt. Fellowship (OF)], and Marks Obtained in 100. To view the result, click on the link below –

On the basis of the CBT Examination (Stage-I & II) held on Saturday, the 2nd September 2023, and the result declared on 11th September 2023, followed by Departmental Clinical/Practical/Lab-based Assessment (Stage-III) held on 15th September 2023, following candidates have been selected in different Departments of AIIMS for admission to PhD Programme at All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi.
All candidates in the above merit list will be considered for seats in order of merit that are available in the respective department only, irrespective of the project they had applied in, subject to fulfillment of eligibility and other requirements as per project.
Further, the allocations of seats shall be done by physical counseling at AIIMS, New Delhi. Candidates will exercise their choice of project in the respective Department when called during the physical counseling as per their merit in their respective category. The choice thus made will be final, and no claim will be entertained in this regard thereafter.
The counselling for allocation of seats for admission to various PhD programs, July 2023 session will be on 23.09.2023 at 09:30 A.M.in the Conference / LT-1/2/3, Teaching Floor, AIIMS, New Delhi- 110029.
On the day of counseling, the candidates need to bring their roll number/admit card and all original educational certificates/NOC (if required)/Experience Certificate (if any)/Certificate of National Entrance Test Score Card along with Award Letter (for non-medical candidates) subjected to fulfilling the required condition of point no. C General Eligibility-(B-a.ii) as mentioned in the PhD Prospectus for the July 2023 session /any other certificate as mentioned in the prospectus.
The candidates need to carry one set of photocopies of all documents (self-attested) and 2 passport-size photographs to be submitted at the time of verification of original documents. No candidate will be allowed to attend the counseling without above mentioned original certificates/documents. It is mandatory for all candidates to be physically present i.e. in person for counseling on the day as given above. No request for an authorized representative on behalf of the candidate will be entertained.
The candidates will be allowed for counseling subject to the production of valid original certificates/documents as required for PhD selection. If the candidates fail to come for counseling in person, they will be marked absent, and their candidature will stand canceled.
In case, if the information/documents furnished by the candidates are found to be incorrect in the later stage, their candidature will be terminated.
All seats in a single Department will be clubbed, and candidates qualifying for them will be offered the project of their choice within that department based on their merit. Candidates will be counseled for seat allotment based on their order of merit within the department. Candidates with their own fellowships (OF) will be allowed to choose from both OF and FA seats, while candidates without their own fellowships can choose only FA seats where they meet the eligibility criteria for the fellowship in the project.
The candidates note that the last date for joining the PhD Program for the July 2023 session is 16.10.2023. The result is provisional and subject to verification of data & records.
