New Delhi- All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) is soon going to end the Registration process of Institutes of National Importance Combined Entrance Test (INI-CET) for admission to Postgraduate (PG) courses (MD, MS, DM (6 years), MCh (6 years) and MDS) for July 2024- INI CET 2024.

Interested candidates are advised to take note of the prospectus details including important dates, steps to apply, application fees and eligibility criteria as mentioned below.

INI-CET for the July 2024 session will be conducted on Sunday, May 19, 2024, and its examination centres will be held in all cities across India and the result can be likely to be declared on Saturday, May 25, 2024. The last date for admission to the courses is August 31, 2024. INI-CET July 2024 exam will be conducted in Computer Based Testing (CBT) mode.

1 Registration and Basic Information [All applicants who have applied earlier and whose Basic Registration has been #ACCEPTED are not required to complete Registration and Basic information again. They must complete the application form only after the Generation of the Examination Unique Code (EUC Code)].

2 Editing of Registration and Basic information (after the last editing date, editing of Registration and Basic information will not be allowed).

3 All the candidates who have completed their basic registration under the OCI category are required to make a new fresh basic registration for the July 2024 Session, previous registration of OCI category candidates will not be accepted.

1 Generation of Examination Unique Code (EUC) [only for Accepted Registration and Basic information - Previous EUC code not valid for July 2024 session].

2 Completion of the Application form (only for the candidates who have generated EUC code).

3 Editing of completion of the Application form (Change of category will not be allowed after payment of registration fee in any circumstances).

Uploading of valid Certificate/Card: SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/EWS/PwBD certificate and OCI Card-

1 Date(s) of valid OBC(NCL) certificate: The OBC(-NCL) certificates should have been issued between 20.05.2023 to 19.05.2024 (date of Exam) both dates inclusive.

2 Date(s) of valid EWS certificate: The EWS certificate must be valid for the financial year 2024-2025 and issued between 01.04.2024 to 19.05.2024 (on or before the date of Exam), both dates inclusive based on the income of the year 2023-2024.

Meanwhile, the final status of accepted registrations and basic information will be completed by 5:00 PM on 16th April 2024. At the same time, the final status of online registration and uploading of the admit card on the AIIMS website will be on Monday, May 13, 2024.

Furthermore, applicants are required to take action as per the reason for rejection by 04 May 2024 (05.00 PM) and no correspondence will be entertained after that. The last date of receiving the application form duly recommended & forwarded with “No Objection Certificate” from the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India for Foreign Nationals to apply and appear in the INI-CET for PG courses- July 2024 session and to Upload scanned copy of Sponsored Certificate in the Completion of Application form is on 17 May 2024 (by 05:00 pm) Friday.

HOW TO APPLY

STEP 1- Candidates have to visit the official website of AIIMS.

STEP 2- Go to Homepage and click on the ‘Academic courses’ on the main page and choose ‘MD/DM/MCh’.

STEP 3- Click on the link ‘Click here for new basic registration’ on the registration site.

STEP 4- Complete the registration process by giving your name, birthdate, gender, and ID.

STEP 5- After carefully fill all the information, click on ‘Generate registration ID and password’.

STEP 6- After completing the registration process, the INI CET 2024 registration document will be emailed to the phone number and email provided.

STEP 7- Print the same for further use.

APPLICATION FEE

The application fee is to be paid at the time of application in online mode for INI-CET, July 2024 (completion of application). The application fee is mentioned in the table below-

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

1 An Indian citizen who has obtained the qualifying degree in India must have obtained a minimum of the following marks (aggregate of all professional MBBS/BDS professional examinations):

a) For candidates belonging to the SC/ST Categories 50% marks in aggregate

b) For all other categories including OBC/EWS Category 55% marks in aggregate

c) For Persons with Benchmark Disabilities [PWBD] candidates the minimum aggregate as provided in (a) and (b) will be applicable for the category to which the candidate belongs shall apply.

2 For foreign nationals, the eligibility of applicants with respect to minimum marks in aggregate in all MBBS/BDS professional examinations will be 55% aggregate or equivalent.

3 Overseas Citizens of India (OCI)/PIOs are not required to obtain NOC, however, they have to upload the scanned copy of their OCI card on or before the due dates. The earliest issued, valid OCI card must be uploaded on the portal. Any attempt at hiding a valid older OCI card or uploading only a newer card will be considered as providing false information and the candidature may be cancelled.
