AIIMS INI SS January 2026 round 1 counselling choice filling ends today

New Delhi: The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) New Delhi, is currently conducting the Round 1 counselling for the Institute of National Importance-Super Speciality (INI SS) January 2026 session.

The choice filling process for the INI-SS January 2026 counselling is scheduled to end today. The counselling process is being conducted for candidates seeking admission to DM (Doctorate of Medicine) and MCh (Master of Chirurgiae) courses at the participating institutions.

The counselling will be conducted in two rounds, beginning with the choice-filling process. Only candidates who have qualified in the INI-SS examination are eligible to participate. According to the official schedule, the INI-SS January 2026 round 1 counselling will be held from 20 December 2025 till 06 January 2026. Below is the detailed schedule-

THE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA AND DATE OF VALIDITY OF THE CERTIFICATE FOR ADMISSION

1 Eligibility criteria and date of validity of certificates remain the same as published in INI-SS Prospectus for January 2026 session.

2 The Institute allocation will be done in order of merit among the candidates registered within/on the specified date & time.

3 Kindly note that the choices cannot be edited and reordered after the closing date of exercising the Choice of the 1st Round of seat allocation. The allocation of the 2nd Round will be done as per the choices made by the candidates during the exercise of the Choice of the 1st Round of seat allocation.
