AIIMS INI SS July 2026 session stage 1 results declared

New Delhi: The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) New Delhi, has announced the results of the Institute of National Importance Super Speciality (INI SS) Entrance Test Stage I for admission to DM and MCh courses for the July 2026 session.

The result notification contains the roll number-wise list of provisionally qualified candidates across a wide range of DM and M.Ch. specialities. The qualified candidates have been listed for various DM and M.Ch. disciplines.

The result document further showed that a significant number of candidates qualified in highly competitive streams such as DM Cardiology and several surgical super-speciality branches.

According to the notification, the declared results are purely provisional and based on information submitted by candidates in their online application forms. AIIMS stated that candidature may be cancelled at any stage if discrepancies related to eligibility, sponsorship, category certificates, or other documents are detected.

Candidates who have qualified in Stage 1 will now have to appear for the departmental assessment, which forms the second stage of the admission process.

Further, the final admission will remain subject to the fulfilment of eligibility criteria and verification of original documents by the respective Institutes of National Importance.

The entrance examination was conducted in online Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode on April 25, 2026, for admission to super-speciality medical courses offered at leading Institutes of National Importance, including AIIMS-New Delhi and other AIIMS institutions, JIPMER Puducherry, PGIMER Chandigarh, NIMHANS Bengaluru, and SCTIMST Trivandrum.

Earlier, around 911 seats had  been notified for the Doctor of Medicine (DM) and Master of Chirurgiae (M.Ch.) courses, covering a wide range of clinical and surgical specialities.

With the announcement of the final seat distribution, aspirants can now assess their options based on speciality-wise availability, category-wise allocation, and institute preferences ahead of the counselling process.
