BFUHS Extends Date to Surrender Round 1 NEET seats, details
Faridkot: Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) extended the date of seat surrender from round 1 NEET UG candidates.
The date of surrender of the seat is extended from 12.11.2022 to 15.11.2022. This extension is given because the Director General of Health Services, Medical Counseling Committee New Delhi, vide notice dated 11.11.2022, has extended the date of declaration of result of UG-2022 Round-II Counseling up to 14.11.2022.
The rest schedule for 2nd round of online counselling under NEET UG-2022 will remain the same.

Eligibility criteria –
1. The admission to MBBS/BDS Courses shall be open to candidates who have qualified NEET-UG- 2022 and are eligible as per Punjab Govt. notifications and subsequent amendment(s)/corrigendum(s) and as well as Punjab Govt. Personnel Department letter dated 06.06.1996.
2. Merely applying for admission to MBBS/BDS courses based on NEET-UG-2022 will not entitle the Candidate's eligibility. The Admission Committee will determine a candidate's merit for admission strictly per rules and regulations laid down by the Punjab Govt. Therefore, the admission application form requires notification (s) published in this prospectus and other documents.
3. The Admission Committee shall conduct counselling/Admissions constituted by the Punjab Government for this purpose.
Baba Farid University of Health Sciences was established in July 1998 by Punjab Act No. 18. It is named after Baba Farid, a 12th-century Punjabi Sufi headquartered in Faridkot. The mission of the University is to create an intellectual, academic, and physical environment conducive to the free flow of ideas and exchange of information between various faculties of the University and between this University and other Universities of Health Sciences in the country and abroad.
