Puducherry: The Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC), under the Directorate of Higher and Technical Education, Government of Puducherry, has extended the online application window for the NEET UG based admissions for the academic year 2026-27 following requests received from candidates.

Fresh applications are being invited from NEET UG 2026-qualified candidates for admission to MBBS, BDS, BAMS courses.

According to the notice issued by the CENTAC in this regard, the fresh application window opened on August 12, 2026, and candidates can submit their applications till tomorrow, i.e. August 14, 2026, at 5:00 pm. No further extension will be provided for submission or completion of applications.

Candidates who had already registered earlier but did not complete their applications have been allowed to edit and submit their forms during the reopened application window.

CENTAC has also provided relief to candidates who are still awaiting renewed certificates. Such candidates may upload their old certificates and complete their application by August 14, 2026, at 5:00 pm.

However, they will have to mandatorily submit their renewed certificates before publication of the Final Merit List.

Candidates who have already submitted applications under the Government Quota or Management Quota and now wish to additionally apply under the Management Quota or NRI Quota can raise a request through the Grievance option available in their dashboard.

They must select “Request to Edit Application and Apply for MQ/NRI Quota” as the grievance type.

The deadline for raising this request is August 14, 2026, at 3:00 pm.

For candidates who have already completed and submitted their application before 08/08/2026, 5.00 p.m., the EDIT option to update / modify their data is closed and data is frozen. However, such candidates, if willing to submit any certificates, may submit the same using Grievance option in their dashboard login. 2.
