DME Assam releases merit list for MDS admissions At Regional Dental College

Assam: The Director of Medical Education (DME Assam) has informed the candidates about admission into the MDS course at Regional Dental College, Guwahati 2023 Session.

The NEET MDS 2023 state merit list has been released per the notice. The candidates can check the merit list on the official website, www.dme.assam.gov.in. The date of counselling will be announced in due course of time. The candidates need to keep track of the official website for further announcements.

The merit list includes State Rank, Roll No, Name of the Candidate, Category, Score, NEET MDS 2023, Gender, State, Permanent State, and Permanent Country. 310 candidates are included in the merit list. The detailed merit list is enclosed in the notice below.

The Director of Medical Education conducts NEET MDS counselling process in the state. The candidates who qualify for NEET MDS with other eligibility criteria will only be eligible to participate in the counselling process for seat allotment. There are 3 rounds (round 1, round 2, and mop-up round) of counselling to fill the seats. A 4th round (stray vacancy round) is conducted only when seats remain vacant after 3 rounds of counselling. The seats are allocated based on NEET score, choices filled, and seats available.

The Directorate of Medical Education, Assam, Training and Research, Assam was established in the year 1984 under the control of the Health & Family Welfare Department, Government of Assam. It promotes expertise in medical science in different streams like Allopathic, Ayurvedic and Homoeopathic medicine and paramedical science, and health care facilities to the people of Assam through different hospitals under the Directorate. It promotes research in the field of medical science in the state of Assam.
