DME Gujarat Begins Registration Process For Round 3 NEET PG, NEET MDS admissions, details

Gujarat: The Director of Medical Education (DME Gujarat) has begun the online registrations for round 3 for NEET PG and NEET MDS courses.

The candidates willing to participate can purchase the pin for online registration (website: www.medadmgujarat.org) till 13/09/2023 03:00 PM on payment of Rs. 3000 (Nonrefundable) + Rs.25000 (Refundable Security Deposit) =Total Rs.28000. The online registration can be done till 13/09/2023 05:00 PM.

Document verification and submission of photocopies of documents at the help center can be carried out till 14/09/2023 (04:00 PM). Help Center working hours: 10.00 am to 4.00 pm. Help Centers will remain closed on Government Holidays and Sundays. Candidate has to take a prior appointment for the Document verification and submission of photocopies of documents at the help center. Candidates, themselves, can select the date, time, and help center of their choice for document verification at the time of printing the registration slip.

For NRI Candidates only: After online application, they have to submit a Demand draft of Rs. 25000 (Non-refundable) in favor of “ACPUGMEC”, payable at Gandhinagar as a processing fee at the office of ACPUGMEC & ACPPGMEC, GMERS Medical College, Gandhinagar Only. The document verification and submission will be done only at the Office of ACPPGMEC, GMERS Medical College, Gandhinagar.

Candidates who have purchased online PIN by paying Rs.28000 in Round 01 or Round 02 and have not done online registration/ documents verification & not submitted photocopies of documents at the Help Center after completing online registration, need not purchase online PIN again. They only have to do document verification & submit photocopies of documents at the Help Center only.

All the activities of admission described here can be performed within the stipulated time limit as declared by the Admission Committee for Professional Postgraduate Medical Educational Courses (ACPPGMEC) and refer to the admission schedule declared by ACPPGMEC from time to time on www.medadmgujarat.org.

The process of online registration –

For online form registration candidate has to click “Medical, Dental, CPS diploma” under “Post Graduate Admission” A New window will appear on the computer screen.

Click the “Log-in for Post-Graduate Medical Admission” button. A new window will appear on the computer screen.

Click on “Purchase PIN” to purchase an online PIN. A new window will appear on the computer screen. Read the instructions carefully before purchasing PIN online from the website.

Click on “Candidate Registration/Login” to start the registration process. A new window will appear on the computer screen.

To register as a new candidate, click the “Click here for New Registration” button. By doing so, a New Registration window will be displayed on the computer screen.

Enter ‘Serial number of PIN’, ’14-digit PIN’, ‘E-mail Address’, ‘Mobile No.’, ‘Roll No. (NEET Roll No.’) and ‘Captcha Image’ in the appropriate box. Verify the details entered, and if every detail entered is correct, click the “SUBMIT” button. Then, the “Online Registration Form” window will be displayed on the computer screen.

The candidate has to fill up personal details in the format displayed in the “Online Registration Form”. Candidate’s ‘Serial number of PIN’ will appear as LOGIN/USER ID. After that, the candidate has to enter a password by using at least 6 (six) and maximum 12 (twelve) alphanumeric characters. Re-enter the same password in the space marked as “Confirm Password”. For future login, the candidate has to use the same Login ID, PIN, and password only. So, the candidate has to remember the password for subsequent log-in

Verify the entries made, and if every detail is found correct, then choose the “I Agree” option at the bottom of the form, if the declaration is acceptable. If the candidate selects the “I Agree” option, he will be allowed to click the “SUBMIT” button. In case any mandatory information is not filled, then registration will not be completed. In such cases, the incomplete fields will be highlighted by ‘*’ with red color or a message will be displayed. Provide the incomplete information and click the “SUBMIT” button. OTP will be generated and will be sent to your Registered Mobile.

Click on “Save Changes”. A new window will appear on the computer screen. “Save Changes”.

By doing so, “Registration Details” will be generated. If any corrections are required, then click the “EDIT/CONFIRM APPLICATION” button. The “Online Registration Form” will appear with already filled details which can be edited by the candidate if needed. After editing, the candidate has to verify the details entered, and if every detail is found correct, then go for “Upload Documents”. After uploading the required documents, click the “Confirm Registration Details” button. No changes to registration details will be allowed after this. Now if any change is required will be done at the help center before verification. Candidates are instructed to upload all the required documents before confirming the application.

Now after registration, candidates have to upload documents as per registration details as shown in the below screenshots according to category. Upload documents (readable photos) which are. PDF, JPG, JPEG, or PNG format only by clicking on “Choose file” > select the photo you what to upload > click on “Upload” button > Your document will be uploaded. You can delete the photo if you want to change the photo>click on the “Delete” button and again do the same procedure to upload the correct photo. Choose and upload all documents one by one as given in “Sr. No.”

The candidate will be able to take print of the Registration Details after clicking “Re-Print Registration Slip”. OR The candidate will be able to take print of the Registration Details after clicking “Registration Details” under the “REGISTRATION DETAILS” button. The candidate can click the “Print Your Details” button to print the “Registration Details” page.

To confirm registration at the Help Center, all candidates must take print of the “Registration Details” (two copies). Self-attested copies of all relevant documents (as per the list mentioned at the bottom of the Registration Details) should be attached to the Registration Details. Both the candidate as well as parent/guardian of the candidate have to sign the Registration Details at the space provided. For candidates of SC/SEBC/ST/EWS/PwD category, the candidates must submit 02 copies of the caste certificate, non-creamy layer certificate, and school leaving certificate/transfer certificate of each.

The officer at the Help Center will verify the Registration Details and self-attested photocopies of relevant documents with originals. The officer will retain the Registration Slip and set of self-attested documents and issue the Registration Slip with signature and seal to the Candidate.

It is mandatory for all candidates to verify all Original Documents at the Help Center and obtain a Registration Slip, without which the candidate shall not be eligible for further admission process.

The candidate applying for NRI Quota, document verification, and submission will be done only at the Office of ACPUGMEC, GMERS Medical College, Gandhinagar. The instructions for NRI candidates are available in detail on the website: www.medadmgujarat.org.

All candidates, who are applying for the PwD quota, have to appear for the examination for disability to the Medical Board of ACPUGMEC. Only a Disability Certificate issued from a Medical Board of ACPUGMEC will be considered. No other PwD certificate, issued by any other Authorities/Hospital will be entertained.

For in-service candidates: As per the GR no: MCG/1004/650/J, Sachivalaya, Gandhinagar, dated 10/01/2022, Ten percent (10%) of Government quota seats in Postgraduate subjects of MD/MS courses in Government Medical Colleges, CPS/DNB courses in Government District Hospitals and DNB courses in GMERS Medical Colleges in (1) Pediatrics, (2) TB & Chest, (3) Obstetrics & Gynecology, (4) Preventive & Community Medicine, (5) Orthopedics, (6) General Surgery, (7) General Medicine, (8) Anesthesiology, (9) Radiology, (10) Pathology subjects, shall be reserved in each category for In-service doctors of Gujarat State.

Eligibility for NRI –

A candidate shall be a Non-Resident Indian, or His/her parents, or in the absence of his/her parents, his/her legal guardian shall be Non-Resident India.

The candidate must complete the Internship on or before 11th August 2023.

The candidate should have appeared in the NEET-PG examination of the current admission year and have been declared “Qualified”.

2. Copy of NEET-PG Marksheet of the current academic year

3. Internship completion certificate on or before 11/08/2023

4. Provisional Registration of State Medical / Dental Council OR Medical / Dental Council of India (In case of fresh candidates only who have just completed their internship)/Permanent Registration of State Medical/ Dental Council OR Medical / Dental Council of India (In case of old pass out candidates)

5. Document showing Date and place of Birth & Indian Citizenship (School leaving Certificate / Transfer Certificate--compulsory for all candidates & Birth Certificate/ Passport--If birthplace not mentioned in School leaving certificate/Transfer Certificate)

6. For SEBC, ST, and SC Category: Caste certificate issued by Competent Authorities of Gujarat State only

7. For SEBC Category: Non-creamy layer certificate (Parishistha ‘4’ in Gujarati/English) issued by Competent Authorities of Gujarat State only dated on or after 01/04/2021

8. For EWS (Economically Weaker Sections) Category: EWS certificate issued by Competent Authorities of Gujarat State only dated on or after 01/04/2021

9. For PwD Candidates: Disability Certificate issued by Competent Authority

10. Copy of Passport - if Citizenship is Dual/ Foreign

11. 12th Marksheet (For candidates who have done MBBS/BDS outside Gujarat)

12. Domicile certificate of Gujarat state: For candidates who have done MBBS/BDS outside Gujarat (only if birthplace is outside Gujarat)

Color photocopies of following all documents must be notarized -

1. Passport (Notarized color photocopies of all pages including blank Pages) of NRI/NRI Parents

2. Visa / Resident permit / OCI / PIO card as applicable

3. Address proof (Indian and foreign)

4. Undertaking in regard to the fees from NRI Student/Parent

5. Document/s for Proof of Origin (Citizenship Card/P.R. Card etc.)

The applicant shall have to produce the original certificates and notarized color copies at the time of submission of the application. All documents mentioned above shall have to be produced at the time of the interview. If, during scrutiny or any time thereafter, any discrepancy or incorrectness is noticed, the admission is liable to be canceled forthwith. The candidate could be expelled, and criminal action would be initiated against him.

Preparation and publication of merit list -

After the registration process, ACPPGMEC will prepare and declare a merit list of all eligible candidates. Candidate needs to verify merit number and category as mentioned in registration details.

Admission to the non-resident Indian seats shall be given by ACPPGMEC on the basis of interse merit based on - All India Overall Rank at the NEET-PG of the current admission year from among the candidates who have applied for admission against the Non-Resident Indian seats.

Online choice filling & allotment of admission -

1. After merit declaration, each round will initiate choice filling online.

2. After the choice-filling period is over, the ACPPGMEC will process for allotment of seats and declare the status of allotment on the website. The candidates can view their status of allotment by logging into their own User ID.

3. Admission to NRI quota seats at Medical Colleges will be finalized based on the merit list as prescribed under the rules.

Payment of tuition fees -

The candidate has to pay the requisite amount of tuition fees by cash/DD at any of the designated Axis Bank branches or through online payment within the time limit specified by the ACPPGMEC.
