DME Gujarat Begins Round 2 For NEET UG Counselling
The Director of Medical Education (DME Gujarat) announced round 2 of the NEET UG admission schedule. The seat matrix, round 1 cancelled seat list, and non-reported seat list have also been released.
Detailed schedule –
1. 2nd Round Choice Filling – till 21/11/2022, 4.00 pm
2. Display of Choices filled by candidates - 21/11/2022 up to 12.00 midnight
Process for participation in round 2 –
1. All the candidates, including those in the Merit List of ACPUGMEC, can participate in the 2nd round, irrespective of the admission status of the candidate of round 1.
2. According to the Merit Closure Rule of UG Admission Rules, in round 2, the candidate will not be offered admission to the seats available according to their merit in the allotment process of round 1.
3. Candidates who have not taken part in round 1 in ACPUGMEC and participate directly in round 2 will also not be offered admission to the seats available according to their merit in the allotment process of round 1.
4. To participate in round 2, the candidates must log in to the website www.medadmgujarat.org using their User ID and Password to give online consent for participation in the second round.
5. If the candidate, who has confirmed the admission to round 1 and has given consent to participate in round 2, has been allotted a different seat, the admission to round 1 will get automatically cancelled.
6. If candidates participate in round 2 of ACPUGMEC and their admission is not upgraded, then their admission to round 1 will be continued.
7. The candidate who has participated or not participated in round 2, the admission of round 1 can also be upgraded in the same college by change of admission category (i.e., ST / SC / SEBC / EWS to General category or PwD to non-PwD seat) or change of quota (General Quota to Local Quota {in case of NHL & SMIMER}), there is no need to report the help centre for confirmation of admission.
Guidelines for choice filling –
1. Online allotment of seats is done based on merit cum choice in institutes permitted by the concerned council.
2. The candidate can decide on the following criteria: Course of choice, Institute/Place of choice, Government or Self-financed Institute, and Tuition fees.
3. Candidates are instructed to fill all the available choices irrespective of the institute's status (permitted /recognized) so that during the allotment process, they can get admission in that seat if any institute gets permission.
4. In the choice filling of round 2 and subsequent rounds, the Allotment of seats will be carried out as per the Closure of round 1, irrespective of choices filled in by the candidate of round 1.
5. Closure of the present round will be displayed along with the allotment result.
6. If a candidate fails to confirm admission to the allotted seat for any reason, such candidate shall not be allotted the same type of seat in the same institute in the successive rounds of counselling.
7. For Online Choice Filling, visit the website: http://medadmgujarat.org.
8. Click on the "Medical, Dental, Ayurvedic & Homeopathy" tab under "Undergraduate Admission".
9. Click the "Apply for Admission in Medical, Dental, Homeopathy, and Ayurvedic" button.
10. Click on "Candidate Registration/Login".
11. The candidates need to enter USER ID (Sr No. of PIN), Password, 14 Digit PIN, Captcha & Click on Submit button.
12. Click on "CHOICE DETAILS". 3 options will be displayed.
13. Available Choice: Candidate can see all available choices (Branch, Institute Type, Seat Type).
14. Fill Choice: The candidate can do the choice-filling process. An unlimited number of choices can be added. Choices can be rearranged according to the serial number. Choices can be deleted, and new choices can be filled. Click "add" in the left side panel ⇒ choice will be shifted to the right side panel.
15. SAVE CHOICE: To save filled choices.
16. SAVE & EXIT: To save filled choices and exit from the choice filling the page.
17. After saving and exiting the choices page, you can review your choices. Click on "Modify Choices" to modify choices. After typing 14-digit PIN no., the candidate can lock their choices after clicking on "Lock Choices".
18. Print-Filled Choice: after locking choices, the candidates can take printouts of their choice list. Candidate must take a printout of locked choices. The committee will consider a printout of your locked choices whenever any query arises.
19. The candidate can Un-Lock and modify their filled choices after entering the 14-digit PIN No till the time and date decided by ACPUGMEC.
20. If the candidates fail to lock choices, they will be automatically locked on the last day of choice filling.
