DME Gujarat Informs on Round 1 Seat Cancellation Process For PG Medical, PG Dental Admissions

Gujarat: The Director of Medical Education (DME Gujarat) informed about the round 1 seat cancellation process for PG Medical and PG Dental admission.

The candidates, who have confirmed their admission in round 1 of PG Medical & Dental courses after paying fees at the designated branch of Axis bank & submitting the original documents at the help centre, and want to cancel the admission, can cancel their admission at the help centre where the candidate has submitted original documents for admission confirmation. The cancellation can be from 20th October 2022, 10:00 am, till 22nd October 2022, 1:00 pm.

Suppose candidates who have confirmed their admission after submitting the original documents at the help centre want to cancel the admission. In that case, they will have to go to the admission-reported help centre in person. The same seat will not be available to such candidates for the subsequent admission round, but candidates can participate in a subsequent counselling round.

If a candidate cannot come for some reason, the parents/representative must bring the Authority Letter signed by the candidate to the help centre. Without Authority Letter, the parents/ representativewon't't be able to collect the documents.

Fees will be adjusted if the candidate takes admission in the 2nd & the subsequent round. It will be refunded after completion of the admission process if the candidate does not accept any admission.

The candidates have to submit the following documents and then can collect the original documents -

1. Original admission order of ACPPGMEC

2. Fee receipt/ challan - Xerox copy

3. Self-attested Xerox copy of Allotment Letter of All India Quota/ Deemed/ Centr Universities / Other State Counseling OR application of cancellation if not admitted anywhere

4. ID Proof- Xerox copy

5. Authority letter (In case parents/representatives want to collect the documents

Eligibility criteria for admission –

1. The candidate must have completed the recognized MBBS or BDS course from a university established under any law of the Government of Gujarat and situated in the State of Gujarat.

2. The candidate must have completed the recognized MBBS or BDS course from a university established under any law of the Government of India and situated in any State / Union territory of India / Out of India subject to fulfilling the Eligibility criteria of NMC, New Delhi/ Govt. of India and must have passed 12th qualifying examination wit" "B- gro"p" o" "AB-gro"p" either from (a) Gujarat Board OR (b) from Central Board of Secondary Education/ The Council of Indian School Certificate Examination Board/ The International School Board (International Baccalaureate and Cambridge)/ The National Institute of Open Schooling provided that school is located in the state of Gujarat and must be born in Gujarat state/ be the Domicile of Gujarat state.

3. The candidate must have completed a compulsory rotating internship on or before 31st July 2022.
