DME Tamil Nadu Announces Tentative Round II Counselling Schedule For DM, MCH Courses

Tamil Nadu: The Director of Medical Education (DME Tamil Nadu) announced the tentative Round- II counseling schedule for Higher Speciality (DM/MCH) courses in government medical colleges 2022-2023 session. The seat matrix has also been released.

Detailed schedule –

1. Choice Filling/ Locking - 15-12-2022, 2.00 pm

2. Result - 15-12-2022

3. Download Of Provisional Allotment Order - 15-12-2022

4. Reporting Time - 16-12-2022 up to 4.00 pm

Instructions –

1. Candidates who have not attended the Round I counseling for Higher Speciality (DM/MCH) course will have to remit a non-refundable amount of Rs 1000 as a processing fee online by using a Debit Card /Net Banking or Credit Card.

2. All candidates have to register to participate in this counseling.

3. The candidate should do fresh choice filling and locking.

4. Candidates who wish to retain their seats in Round I of counseling need not participate in this counseling.

5. Candidates who have not participated/have not joined in Round I counseling can also participate in this counseling.

6. Anticipated vacancies/virtual vacancies will be shown to all the candidates in order of merit.

7. Re-allotted candidates need not pay the security deposit again.

8. Candidates should be vigilant while choice filling.

9. Candidates must ensure their preference for choice filling after carefully considering their options regarding higher specialty courses (eligibility in multiple eligible broad specialty feeders).

10. There is no reservation in Super Specialty (DM/MCh/DNB) courses in compliance with the Direction of the Hon'ble Supreme Court in i. W.P. (c) 290/1997 & W.P. (c) 444/ 2015.

11. Selection of candidates for the Higher Speciality (DM/MCH) course will be made through online counseling based on NEET SS rank. This counseling is exclusively for in-service candidates of Tamil Nadu as per the order issued by the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India dated 02.12.2022 in W.P (C) No. 53/2022.

12. Candidates selected for admission should give a self-declaration form when reporting to the concerned Medical College that they are liable for forfeiture of selection/admission if suppression of facts or misinterpretation is found at any time during or after the admission to the course.

13. Candidates should download their provisional allotment order and join the course in the concerned Medical College on or before the date and time stipulated in the allotment order during the first phase of online counseling.

14. Allotted in-service candidates who discontinue the course after the last date of joining should pay the Discontinuation Fees, besides foregoing tuition fees already paid by them, to the Deans of the respective Colleges, the sum as specified below in total by means of a Demand Draft drawn in favor of "The Secretary, Selection Committee, Kilpauk, Chennai – 10", payable at Chennai.

15. Discontinuation Fees: Rs. 2000000

16. Unless the discontinuation above fee as a penalty amount is paid in total, the candidates will not be relieved, and the concerned institutions will retain the original certificates submitted by the candidates at the time of admission.

17. Candidates should pay the non-refundable Tuition Fee via Debit Card /Net Banking or Credit Card while downloading their provisional allotment order.

18. The Tuition Fee paid when downloading the provisional allotment order is non-refundable if the candidate does not join or discontinue the course.

19. The selected candidates must pay any balance of the Tuition Fee (if any) and other special fees etc., at the time of admission to their respective colleges.

The candidates should produce the following original certificates in person at the time of joining their selected Medical College, along with the scanned copy of the original certificates to the concerned College –

1. NEET SS -2022-Score Card

2. NEET SS-2022 Admit Card

3. Aadhar Card

4. PG Degree Certificate or Provisional Pass Certificate

5. Permanent Medical Registration Certificate issued by the Medical Council of India / State Medical Council or Provisional Registration Certificate issued by the Medical Council of India / State Medical Council.

6. TNPSC/MRB (through competitive written examination) Selection & Posting Order for service candidates.

7. Eligibility Certificate, if applicable.

8. Post Card size color photograph (4"x6"), the same photo that has been uploaded in NEET SS-2022.
