Tamil Nadu: 2557 seats are available for MBBS and BDS admission. The Director of Medical Education (DME Tamil Nadu) released the tentative seat matrix.

Eligible Candidates For Round 2 –

1. Candidates who registered and chose locked in Round 1 but did not get any seats.

2. Candidates who have joined an allotted medical/dental College during round 1 of allotment.

3. Candidates who have not joined the allotted seat during Round 1.

4. Candidates who have joined and resigned their seats in Round 1.

Not Eligible Candidates For Round 2 -

1. Candidates who have not registered in 1st round of online counseling.

2. Candidates whose names are in the joined list provided by MCC at the end of All India Round -2.

The counseling schedule for MBBS and BDS admission began yesterday. The allotment result will be declared on 24th November 2022. The last date for joining is 28th November 2022.

The Department of Medical Education plays a pivotal role in developing medical and para-medical personnel to cater to the health needs of the State. The department also has a role to play in establishing and maintaining well-equipped teaching institutions, which are the premier referral centers with State of the art equipment and technology. Research is another area of activity for the Medical Education Department.
