Agartala: The Round-2 of Tripura State NEET UG 2023 counselling for allotment of state quota seats of MBBS/BDS/BASLP seats AND MBBS seats at Tripura Medical College for All India candidates other than Tripura domicile will be started from 16-08-2023,10 am.

The Registration fees for fresh candidates who will be registered in the NEET UG 2023 counselling is as follows according to their category.

B) Mandatory security deposit- A Must for all Participating candidates of Round-2.

All the candidates have to deposit the mandatory security deposit which is mandatory to participate in Round-2 Counselling to be eligible to get a seat of in Round-2.

The mandatory security deposit shall have to be submitted through bank demand draft or Bank deposit. The demand draft shall have to be payable in favour of “Directorate of Medical Education, Government of Tripura” from any nationalized bank Preferably SBI. The original demand draft/bank receipt has to submitted to the office of the Director of Medical Education, Bidurkarta Chowmohani, Agartala on or before 18-08-2023, 5 pm. A scanned copy of original bank deposit/demand draft shall have to be uploaded during registration of Round-2 Counselling.

Eligibility and qualification: The eligibility and qualification to get a seat shall be in accordance with information bulletin 2023 published by NTA/Guidelines of MCC/NMC/MCI/MoHFW/Respective guidelines of sponsoring Institutions and Tripura State NEET UG 2023 guidelines/Information Bulletin.

The candidates are again reminded that-

1) A registered candidate in round-1 shall have to deposit the mandatory security deposit to participate in Round-2.

2) A fresh candidate intending to participate in Round-2 of Tripura State UG 2023 Counselling has to register in Round-2 with submission of registration fees(online) and also have to deposit the mandatory security deposit to participate in Round-2.

3) The scanned transaction copy of original bank deposit/demand draft in respect of mandatory security deposit shall have to be uploaded during registration of Round-2 Counselling without which participating in Round-2 Counselling by a candidate may not be considered. The original demand draft must be subsequently submitted at office of DME on or before 18-08-2023, 5 pm.

4) The fresh candidates are also reminded to go through the information bulletin and earlier notifications issued by the Director of Medical education, Govt, of Tripura in respect to the earlier Round of Tripura NEET UG 2023 Counselling to keep abreast of the counselling.

5) All the aspirant eligible candidates are instructed to follow the DME website regularly for updates and next notifications in respect of the counselling.

Candidates are instructed to participate in the “Choice filling” as per their choices in the Counselling link : https: / /dmeonline.tripura.gov.in for allotment of seats as per seat matrix and category according to Merit (Result score and Rank of NEET UG 2023). Candidates are instructed to follow the website of Allotted Institutions for details regarding admission and other details.

Candidates are also instructed to follow the DME website https://dme. tripura. gov, inat frequent intervals for further Notices/Updates/Notification which may be issued from time to time.

• An already registered candidate of Round-1 shall have to login in their profile in the Counselling link and fill their choices.

• Fresh Registration is available with choice filling for fresh candidates.

• Freshly Registered Candidates shall have to submit Registration fees and mandatory Security deposit as notified earlier which is mandatory for all to participate in Round-2. Documents of Eligibility, NEET UG 2023 Score Card, Admit Card, Age Proof Certificate and all others relevant certificates shall have to be uploaded during Online Registration.

• A Candidate once admitted to a Round-2 allotted seats shall be the end of the counselling for him/her. The last date of surrender of an allotted Round-2 seat or an admitted Round- 1 seat is 31st August, 2023 by 12 noon.

• A Candidate allotted a Round-2 seat but not gets admitted to the Round-2 seat can move to Mop up round with “forfeiture of Security Deposit”. Application for such opted “forfeiture by a Candidate” to go to Mop Up Round shall have to be addressed to DME mentioning all details of NEET result and Registered Phone Number and email ID with supportive documents on or before 31st August, 2023 by 12 noon.

•The application of such “forfeiture” shall have to be submitted physically by a candidate and sending the same application with relevant documents through email from their registered email address to Director of Medical Education.

• A Candidate can ignore the allotted seat of Round-2 with forfeiture of security deposit to get eligibility for MoP Up Round provided he/she does not apply for or receive the nomination letter against his/her allotted seat of Round-2.

• A Candidate cannot surrender an admitted seat against a Round -2 allotted seat.

• A Candidate not allotted a seat in Round 2 can even surrender his/her admitted seat of Round 1 but it must be on or before 31st August, 2023 by 12 noon with application of such surrender with all NEET UG 2023 documents to be physically submitted by the candidate along with surrender certificate issued by admitting Institution to Director of Medical Education, Govt, of Tripura along with a copy of such surrender application to be sent through email to DME from the Registered email address of the candidate. The surrender certificate issued by the admitting Institution which is mandatory for such surrender shall have to be submitted to DME on or before 31st August, 2023 by 5 pm.

Security deposit is mandatory for all the eligible aspiring candidates who are and will be freshly registered for Round-2 of the Counselling with Registration fees (fresh Candidates of Round 2) and for registered candidates of Round-1 for participating in Round-2 Counselling.
