Gujarat CPS Diploma admissions: DME releases instructions for Offline Counselling Round 2 candidates

Gujarat: The Director of Medical Education (DME Gujarat) released the instruction for the offline round 2 counselling for CPS Diploma Courses 2021-22.

The candidates who wish to participate will have to give online consent. To participate in this round, the candidates must log in to the website https://www.medadmgujarat.org/CPS/CPSHOME.HTML?v=3 using their User-ID and Password to give online consent. The online consent can be given till 1st July 2022 till 12:00 pm. The candidate, who has not given online consent during the stipulated time, will not be allowed to participate. Candidates can select the help center for participating in this round at the time of consent.

The candidates need to take the printout of the consent form available in "Registration Details," which shows the date and time of consent and the place for the offline round. They will have to carry the printout of the consent form at the time of offline counseling. Those who remain absent at the date and time of counseling allotted to them will have no right to admission. Authority Letter or Proxy will not be allowed for taking admission in offline counseling.

This round will organize through video conferencing at 7 different medical colleges across Gujarat.

Following are the colleges for video conferencing –

1. B. J. Medical College, Ahmedabad

2. Smt. NHL Municipal Medical College, Ahmedabad

3. Government Medical College, Vadodara

4. Government Medical College, Surat

5. Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Medical College, Rajkot

6. Government Medical College, Bhavnagar

7. GMERS Medical College, Dharpur, Patan

As per DME, the candidates will be called as per the merit rank and will be allotted admission on vacant seats during counseling. If they are not willing to take admission in the offered seat, they can refuse the admission.

The candidates note that those who have taken admission in the previous offline round have to bring the original admission order of ACPPGMEC and receipt of paid tuition fees along with the consent form for round 2.

The new candidates need to bring the following documents –

1. 10th Marksheet

2. 12th Marksheet

3. All-year MBBS marksheets

4. 12 months internship completion certificate

5. Provisional Registration of State Medical Council OR Medical Council of India OR Permanent Registration of State Medical Council OR Medical Council of India

6. Copy of NEET-PG-2021 Marksheet

7. Document showing the place of birth & Date of Birth & Indian Citizenship: School leaving Certificate/ Transfer Certificate/ Passport/ Birth Certificate

8. Domicile Certificate (with signature and stamp of Authority) issued by Competent Authorities (Mamlatdar / Executive Magistrate / Commissioner of Police) of Gujarat State only (in case of candidate born outside of Gujarat)

9. For SEBC, ST and SC Category: Caste certificate issued by Competent Authorities of Gujarat State only

10. For SEBC Category: Non-creamy layer certificate (Parishistha '4' in Gujarati/English) issued by Competent Authorities of Gujarat State only dated on or after 01/04/2019

11. For EWS (Economically Weaker Sections) Category: EWS certificate issued by Competent Authorities of Gujarat State only dated on or after 01/04/2019

12. Copy of Passport, if Citizenship is Dual / Foreign

The candidate has to pay tuition fees/difference in tuition fees of one term (six months) by cash/Demand Draft in favor of "ACPPGMEC-CPS" payable at Gandhinagar at the bank facility provided by the Admission Committee immediately. All candidates must write Name, Merit Type, and General Merit No. of CPS behind the Demand Drafts. If the candidate has paid tuition fees for admission for the previous offline round, fees will be adjusted according to it. Excess fees will be refunded at the end of the whole admission process.

Those candidates who have not taken admission in the previous offline round are required to pay provisional enrollment fees and the cost of an electronic paperless device (EPD) at the time of confirmation of admission immediately by 2 separate Demand Drafts as per the following details –
