Gujarat PG Medical admissions 2024: DME conducting Round 3, Check all details

Candidates, who are qualified in National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2024 and are eligible, only for those candidates who have not Registered in Round 01 or Round 02 or candidates who have been allotted a seat in Round 02 but their admission have not been confirmed (Exited with forfeiture of refundable security deposit) can apply till 08 January 2025.

As per the schedule in this regard, the Round 03 Admission Process for 1st Year of Postgraduate MD/MS/Diploma Courses 2024 has started on 04th January 2025 and will end on 09th January 2025. In which, the online Registration and online pin purchase for online registration process will be done till 08 January 2025. Following this, candidates can do the Document Verification and Submission of photocopies of Documents from 06 January 2025 to 09 January 2025.

SCHEDULE

For online registration, candidates can visit the official website of DME Gujarat and purchase the PIN online by paying a total of Rs 28,000/-. Out of this, Rs 3000/- is non-refundable and Rs 25,000 is a refundable security deposit.

In addition, after the online application, the NRI Candidates only have to submit a Demand draft of Rs. 25,000/- which is Non-refundable in favor of “ACPUGMEC”, payable at Gandhinagar as a processing fee at the office of ACPUGMEC & ACPPGMEC, GMERS Medical College, Gandhinagar Only. The document verification and submission will be done only at the Office of ACPPGMEC, GMERS Medical College, Gandhinagar. However, candidates who have purchased an Online PIN by paying Rs.28,000/- in Round 01 or Round 02 and have not done online registration/document verification & not submitted photocopies of documents at the Help Center after completing the online registration, need not purchase an online PIN again. They only have to do document verification & submit photocopies of documents at the Help Center only

Meanwhile, candidates have to take a prior appointment for the Document Verification and Submission of photocopies of Documents at the Help Center. The candidate, himself/herself, can select the Date, time and Help Center of his/her choice for Document Verification at the time of printing the Registration Slip.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

1 The candidate must have completed the recognized MBBS course from a university established under any law of the Government of Gujarat and situated in the State of Gujarat.

2 The candidate must have completed the recognized MBBS course from university established under any law of Government of India and situated in any State / Union territory of India / Out of India subject to fulfilling the Eligibility criteria of NMC, New Delhi/ Govt. of India and must have passed 12th qualifying examination with “B- group” or “AB-group” either from (a) Gujarat Board OR (b) from Central Board of Secondary Education/ The Council of Indian School Certificate Examination board/ The International School Board (International Baccalaureate and Cambridge)/ The National Institute of Open Schooling provided that school is located in the state of Gujarat and must be born in Gujarat state/ be the Domicile of Gujarat state.

3 The candidate must have completed a compulsory rotating internship on or before Dt. 15/08/2024.

DOCUMENTS

1 All years MBBS attempt-wise Marksheets.

2 Copy of NEET-PG(MD/MS) Marksheet of current academic year.

3 Internship completion certificate on or before Dt. 15/08/2024.

4 Provisional Registration of State Medical Council (In case of fresh candidates only who have just completed their internship)/Permanent Registration of Medical Council / Medical Council of India (In case of old pass-out candidates).

5 Document showing Date & Place of Birth & Indian Citizenship (School leaving Certificate/ Transfer Certificate--compulsory for all candidates & Birth Certificate/ Passport--If birthplace not mentioned in School leaving certificate/Transfer Certificate).

6 For SEBC, ST and SC Category: Caste certificate issued by Competent Authorities of Gujarat State only.

7 For SEBC Category: Non-creamy layer certificate (Parishistha ‘4’ in Gujarati/English) issued by Competent Authorities of Gujarat State only dated on or after Dt.01/04/2022, should be valid for the year 2024-25.

8 For EWS (Economically Weaker Sections) Category: EWS certificate issued by Competent Authorities of Gujarat State only dated on or after Dt.01/04/2022, should be valid for the year 2024-25.

9 For PwD Candidates: Disability Certificate issued by Competent Authority.

10 Copy of Passport - if Citizenship is Dual/ Foreign.

11 12th Marksheet (For candidates who have done MBBS outside Gujarat).

12 Domicile certificate of Gujarat state: For candidates who have done MBBS outside Gujarat (only if their birthplace is outside Gujarat).
