IP University notifies Round 2 NEET counselling schedule, registrations till September 3, check complete admission details

New Delhi: Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) has announced the schedule for Round 2 counselling for NEET UG 2025 qualified candidates seeking admission to affiliated medical and nursing colleges for the academic session 2025-26.

Admissions will be made strictly on the basis of NEET UG 2025 All India Rank, purely on merit, as per the qualifying percentile.

The correction/edit window, fresh registrations, and choice filling process will be open from September 1 to September 3, 2025, with the Round 2 result to be declared on September 4, 2025.

All the concerned candidates seeking MBBS and BSc Nursing admissions at IP University's institutes are advised to take note of the following details as mentioned by the university in its recent notice:

1. All the NEET UG 2025 qualified candidates desirous of seeking admission/allotment of seat in the affiliated medical/nursing colleges/ institutes through counseling conducted by GGSIP University for the session 2025-26 are hereby informed that the schedule for Round 02 is detailed as below:

→ ADMISSIONS WILL BE MADE ON "NEET UG 2025 ALL INDIA RANK" PURELY ON MERIT as per the qualifying percentile.

2. Following category of candidates are not eligible for Round 02:

a. Candidates who were allotted seat in Round 01 but did not pay the requisite Part Academic Fee.

b. Candidates who were allotted seat in Round 01, paid the requisite Part Academic Fee but did not report at their allotted college.

c. Candidates who chose withdrawal option.

3. Candidates are directed to go through the General Important Instructions for claiming the seats earmarked for various Reserved Categories uploaded on University Website vide Notification No. 30/2025, F.No.IPU-7/DI (Academic)/Misc./2025/456 dated 13.05.2025.

4. Candidates are also directed to go through the "Indicative Procedure for Verification of Documents of All the Allotted & Part Academic Fee Paid Candidates (Online Counselling)—Post Verification for Academic Session 2025-2026 dated 28.05.2025 uploaded on University website vide Notification No. 57/2025, F.No.GGSIPU/DI (Academic)/Misc./2025/555 dated 28.05.2025"

5. Candidates can correct/ edit their filled application form specifically their Category, Sub-Category and Region (passed qualifying examination i.e. class XII from any school / college located in Delhi or Outside Delhi) for allotment of seat in their claimed Region! Category/ Sub-Category. The candidates have to upload copy of their Educational Testimonials, Reserved Category Documents and NEET UG 2025 Score card.

6. Candidates may refer the schedule below for opening of correction/ edit window along with fresh registration and mandatory uploading of educational testimonials, reserved category documents & NEET UG 2025 score card followed by for filling of choices/preferences, declaration of round 02 result and procedure to be followed after declaration of round 02 for academic session 2025-26.

The detailed procedure to be followed after the declaration of result of Round 02 shall be notified by the University on or after 04.09.2025.

7. Documents required to be uploaded for Christian Minority Candidates (applicable in B.Sc. (H) Nursing only) in a single pdf:

a) Baptism Certificate issued by the Pastor / Priest of the Church

b) Confirmation Certificate issued by the Pastor / Priest of the Church

c) Letter from the Pastor / Priest regarding Church membership with dates.

8. Important Note for MBBS: Candidates who have studied 10+2 (11th and 12th) from a recognized School/College in Delhi and passed the qualifying examination from any School/College located in Delhi only shall be eligible for the seats of Delhi Category / Quota. Such candidates need to upload their both 1Ith and 12th class marksheet in a single pdf while uploading documents.

9. MBBS - Candidates may refer University notification titled "Regarding introduction of compulsory service bond for All India quota and State quota Undergraduate and Postgraduate Medical students" available under Important Information on the Admission and eCounselling Services portal for Session 2025.

10. Candidates must have secured the minimum required Cut Off percentile and score as per NMC/DCl/NCISM regulations.

Since the result of Class 12th /Qualifying Exam has been declared, NEET UG 2025 qualified candidates must upload the marksheet of their class 12 / qualifying examination, for ascertaining the eligibility of their securing a seat. It is also mandatory to upload the valid Reserved Category Certificates towards their claim of seat. In the absence of valid / correct documents, the seat so secured on the basis of claimed Category / Region shall be jeopardized.

With regard to Result Awaited candidates, it is made clear that who have 'compartment' as on date in his qualifying examination, will not be considered for admission. They should seek provisional admission only due to non declaration of result of final year/final semester of the qualifying examination by Board/University and not on account of compartment in current or previous years of qualifying degree examination as on date of admission. Result Awaited candidates may please see the provisions contained in Chapter 3 of Part A and Appendix-4 of Admission Brochure for Bachelors Programme.

12. IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR CANDIDATES CLAIMING RESERVATION: 

i. RESERVED CATEGORY CERTIFICATES) VALIDITY: Annexure A (List of Scheduled Castes that will be valid for claiming seats in Delhi Category seats issued by the GNCT of Delhi). Annexure B (List of OBC that will be valid for claiming seats in Delhi OBC categories issued by the GNCTD i.e.

ii. Clarification on Region and the applicability of the certificates have been given in succeeding paras.

iii. Timelines mentioned in the schedule (or if revised by the University) have to be adhered to by the candidates, the University will not be responsible for any loss of seat due to any reason whether non-payment of fees, correct-ness of the Region, validity of the certificates. TO AVOID CONGESTION ON THE WEBSITE PLEASE PAY FEE AT THE EARLIEST.

v. Part Academic Fee paid in one particular programme WILL NOT BE ADJUSTED in other programme(s).

vi. PROVISIONAL ADMISSION WILL NOT BE DONE FOR ANY RESULT AWAITED OR COMPARTMENT / SUPPLEMANTARY CASES.

vii. Candidates may refer University notification titled "Regarding introduction of compulsory service bond for MI India Quota and State quota Undergraduate and Postgraduate Medical students" available under Important Information on the Admission and eCounselling Services portal for Session 2025.

viii. IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR CANDIDATES CLAIMING RESERVATION, which has already been notified in the previous notification however reproduced here:

Clarification for Admissions in Reserved Category: Admission will be permissible to qualified candidates in any programme in the following conditions:-

a. If qualifying examination is passed from Delhi and Reservation certificate issued from Delhi for SC/ST categories. then admission is permissible under Delhi Reserved category. (Refer para 2 below for further clarification for DSC category.

b. If qualifying examination is passed from Outside Delhi and Reservation certificate issued from anywhere in India. including Delhi for SC/ST categories. Then admission is permissible under Outside Delhi Reserved category.

c. If qualifying examination is passed from Delhi and Reservation certificate issued from Outside Delhi for SC/ST categories. then admission is permissible only under Delhi General category for institutions where admission categories are Delhi and outside Delhi; while for institutions where admissions are done on all-India basis, these candidates shall be eligible to claim ALL India SC/ST reservation.

d. Candidates claiming seat in Delhi ''Region— most have passed the qualifying examination (i.e.10+2 for B.sc (Hons) Nursing and 11"' 12th for MBBS from any of the institutes/ Colleges located in Delhi. Allotment of seats in wrong region on account of incorrect Idling of form will lead to cancellation of the allotment at any later stage and candidate will antomatically lose the right to the seat in his bonafied region. ix. In reference to Chapter 6 of Admission Brochure 2025-26 and University Notification no. 16 dated 15.07.2020 as uploaded on the GGSIPU website. The candidates are hereby informed that Scheduled Caste, which are not included in the list of Scheduled Castes for Delhi, in the Presidential order, will not be entitled to admission in the University against the seats reserved for Scheduled Castes candidates of the Delhi Region. The candidates. belonging to the communities. included in the list of Scheduled Castes. In the Presidential order, in relation to Delhi will only he entitled to be considered for admission in the University. against the seats reserved for SC candidates, in terms of the Presidential order dated 20th September, 1951, as amended time to time. by the law made in this regard. (Refer to Annexure A attached.)

x. (a) 27% seats are reserved only for candidates holding “OBC CERTIFICATE (DELHI)” digitally signed and OBC Certificate issued to original residence of Delhi prior to 1993 belonging to the list of OBC castes in Delhi issued by Competent Authority of Delhi. The reservation will be available only in the University Schools or Studies and other Government institutions. Students will be admitted in this category on the submission of a certificate to this effect from the Competent Authority of the Government of NCI of Delhi.

OBC Certificate issued for "Applying for appointment to Post under Govt. of India" or issued Many other state government will not be accepted under ask circumstances

(b) Where OBC caste Certificate is issued on or before 31.03.2025. in that case. Candidates must upload a valid OBC¬NCI, certificate along with OBC certificate. The OBC NCI, Certificate should be mandatorily be issued on or alter 01.04.2025 and should be in consonance with OBC certificate uploaded.

xi. To claim Defence Category the candidates are mandatorily required to upload Appendix 1 i.e. UNDERUTAKING FOR DEFENCE CATEGORY of Part F (upload on the University Website as UG Appendices) duly completed in original and signed by the Competent Authority.

xii. All the candidates who furnish PWD certificate from any Government Hospital located in Delhi or Outside Delhi under the provisions of 'The Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act 2016. shall be eligible for claiming reservation on Delhi and Outside Delhi seals (based on the location of their qualifying exam).

xiii. Reservation for EWS category is applicable only in University School of Studies and Govt. Colleges affiliated with GGSIPU. This will be implemented in accordance with the Govt. of India and Govt. of NCI of Delhi orders as applicable. Reservation tier IEWS category is applicable for Un-reserved Category Candidate only. Candidates claiming reservation for SC/ST/OBC Category will not be considered for reservation under EWS Category. EWS Certificate should be issued after 31st March, 2025.

xiv. ARMY: The admission to the ACM5 is for the children of eligible serving Army personnel. Ex-Army personnel and war widows/widows of the Army. Children of Air Form Navy and Paramilitary forces like CRPF. BSI'. ITBP. C1SF. Assam Rifles. GRF.F and DSC are not eligible for the admission in ACMS against the seals reserved for wards / widows of the army personnel's. To claim reservation specifically for seats of 'ARMY'. candidates. arc required to select 'INDIAN ARMY' option and upload Appendix 9(A)/9(11)19(0. whichever is applicable.

xv. Reserved Category Candidates whose documents are not in order will forfeit his/her right for the reserved category entitlement and will automatically be converted to General Category as per University rules.

xvi. In order to avoid last minute rush. the candidates are advised to apply early enough. The University will not be responsible for network problems or any other problem of such nature for either submission of online application or any other activity during the last minute.

xvii. In ease of refund of fee/withdrawal of admission. amount after deduction will be refunded to the candidate in the bank details as lined by themselves during online registration. No request for change of bank details will be entertained at later stage.

xviii. Candidates are advised to keep their login credentials, i.e. login Id and password, strictly confidential to avoid any misuse /fraudulent activity at any stage (luring the counselling process.

xix. It is the sole responsibility of the candidate to ensure that they fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria in the programmes they seek admission: the correctness of the details filled with respect to region: Category/Sub Category or any other such details for allotment of seat. If at any stage of admission procedure the information furnished by the candidate is found to be incorrect or false, the admission to the such programme shall be cancelled and all the fees paid will be forfeited.

13. Instruction to be followed by the Candidates at the time of Filling up of Choice(s).

a) Choice filling is compulsory for allotment of seat. Candidate will not be considered for online allotment of seat without the filled in choices/preferences.

b) After enrollment for online counselling, candidate has to fill choices for allotment, from the list of all possible combinations of all institutes and courses available, in the order of his/her preference, during the choice tilling period.

c) Once the period for filling of choices/preferences is over, choices/preferences filled by candidate will be used for allotment of seat.

d) Candidates are advised and encouraged in their own interest to fill maximum number of choices, as it increases the possibility of getting the desirable scat. For the benefit of the candidates, the stream-wise and institute-wise and rank-wise Admission Rank cut off data is available on GGSIPU University Website.

e) From previous experiences, it has been noted that some candidates fill up very few / limited number of choices. may result in non-allotment of scat during seat allotment. Therefore it is once again advised that the candidates should fill as many choices as possible to ensure that they have better chances of allotment of seat.

f) Candidates, however, will be given the opportunity to edit/modify/add/delete preferences after allotment of seat in Round 02 for the subsequent round of counselling.

g) The candidates are also advised to fill choices/preferences. then save the same and then take the print out of the saved choices/preferences to be retained for future reference.

h) Candidates and their parents are advised, in their own interest, to visit the various Colleges/Institutes affiliated to the University prior to the date(s) of counseling to ascertain the location, academic and infrastructural facilities available such as hostel, transportation etc. in the various Colleges/Institutes which may facilitate their decision-making at the time of filling choices for various Colleges/Institution during the Online counseling for allotment of scat as per his/her preferred choice . Any representation regarding location of allotted Colleges/ Institution at far away distance from place of residence or non-availability of transportation shall not be entertained by the University.

14. Candidates are advised to re-check and/or correct/ edit their filled application form specifically their Category, Sub-Category and Region (as per Last Qualifying Examination) for allotment of seat in their claimed Region/ Category/ Sub-Category.

15. It is the sole responsibility of the candidate to ensure that they fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria in the program they seek admission; the correctness of the details filled with respect to Region: Category/Sub-Category or any other such details for allotment of seat. If at any stage of admission procedure the information furnished by the candidate is found to be incorrect or false, the admission in the programme shall be cancelled and all the fees paid will be forfeited.
