Telangana : The prestigious Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) has begun the MBBS and BDS admission process for this academic year. Thus, online applications are invited from candidates who have qualified by securing the cutoff scores or above in NEET 2021 for admission into the MBBS and BDS courses under Competent Authority Quota in Government, Private Medical & Dental Colleges affiliated to KNRUHS.

All the concerned NEET qualified candidates who have obtained the following cutoff scores are hereby advised to take note of all the application details mentioned below for MBBS and BDS admissions including eligibility criteria, application process and more.

The MBBS and BDS Candidates can register online and upload scanned original certificates on website  from 8.00 AM on 5 -1-2022 to 5 PM on 11-1-2022 only. The rest of the schedule will be notified later and the closure of admissions will be as per the NMC orders.

Provisional Final Merit position of the applied candidates will be prepared based on NEET UG - 2021 Rank and other eligibility criteria notified here under after verification of scanned original certificates. Final verification of original certificates will be conducted at the time of admission at allotted college by the admission committee.

Minimum Qualifying Score in NEET UG - 2021 examination for MBBS and BDS courses:

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

The candidates, who have qualified in NEET- UG -2021 by securing marks of cutoff score or above have to apply for determining the State Merit position for Competent Authority quota seats subject to the conditions specified in admission Regulations/Prospectus.

a) The candidate should be an Indian National (As per Hon'ble Supreme Court orders OCI card holders are considered for the academic year 2021-22) and should satisfy the Local or Non-local status in Telangana State as laid down in Andhra Pradesh Education Institutions (Regulations of Admissions) Order, 1974. Selection will be done as per the procedure laid down in the G.O.P.No. 646, dated 10.07.1979 as amended in G.O.Ms.No.42, Higher Education (EC2) Department, dated 18.05.2009, G.O.Ms.No. 114 HM&FW(C1) Dept. Dated: 5-7-2017, subsequent amendments and relevant Hon'ble Supreme Court/High Court orders.

b) Educational Qualification :- In accordance with NMC Regulations The candidate should have passed Intermediate (10+2 pattern) or its equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany, Zoology) / Biotechnology and English.

i. OC candidates should obtain not less than 50% marks in science subjects.

ii. BC/SC/ST candidates should obtain not less than 40% marks in science subjects.

iii. OC PWD candidates should obtain not less than 45% marks in science subjects.

iv. Candidates claiming reservation under EWS category also should obtain 50% marks in science subjects.

c. The candidate should have qualified in NEET UG -2021 as per cut off scores notified above.

d. Age: - The candidate should have completed 17 years of age as on 31-12-2021. The candidates who do not complete 17 years as on 31-12-2021 need not attend the counseling. The candidates born on or after 02-01-2005 are not eligible for admission into MBBS/BDS Courses.

e. The candidates who apply for reservation seats under Anglo Indian, CAP (Army), NCC, Persons With Disability (PWD) and Police Martyrs Children (PMC) also need to fulfill the above eligibility criteria.

f. The candidates who claim for admission under Persons with Disabilities (PWD) category shall mention in the online application as applying under PWD category and have to appear before a Medical Board to be constituted for the purpose by the University as per the schedule to be notified by the University for eligibility under PWD status.

2. The candidates are advised to download and read the Prospectus/Regulations available in the website http://www.knruhs.telangana.gov.in/ before filling the online application form for admission into MBBS & BDS Courses for the academic year 2021-22.

3. The NEET UG 2021 qualified and eligible candidates as per the concerned regulations who desire to take admission in to MBBS/BDS Courses in Government, Private Un- aided Nonminority & Minority Medical colleges & Govt. Dental College and Private Non- Minority Dental Colleges including Army dental College shall apply online and upload all original certificates for determining the Merit position for Telangana State competent authority quota seats. The online application can be filled through any computer with internet connection or mobile with data connection. 

4. Registration and Verification Fee for UG Medical and Dental Courses: - The Registration and Verification fee is Rs.3500/- (Bank transaction charges extra) for OC & BC candidates and for SC/ST candidates is Rs.2900/- (Bank transaction charges extra) . Fee shall be paid online through Debit card / Credit card or Net Banking.**

**Registration & verification fee once paid will not be refunded or adjusted to a further date.

5. The candidates are advised to download and read the Prospectus of the course to verify for eligibility under local/non local category.

6. Procedure of filling online application and online payment for MBBS and BDS Courses

i). The registration & verification fee can be paid through Debit card / Credit card or Net Banking

ii). The registration & verification fee paid by the applicants is not refundable under any circumstances.

8. Visit website through Computer with Internet connection or Mobile with Data Connection to fill the application form.

9. Fill in all the details in the online application form and upload all the documents which are mandatory.

10. Important information for candidates:-

a) On-line application form without uploading mandatory Certificates, Passport size photo, without signature at declaration area, incomplete applications will be automatically rejected and will not be considered for determining the Merit position in respective categories usingNEET– UG – 2021 Rank.

b) The mere fact that merit position issued to the candidate does not imply that the candidature is accepted by the University and it does not mean that the entries made by the candidate in the online application are accepted as true and correct.

c) Candidates may please note that the University will take up the verification of certificates with regard to eligibility conditions i.e., educational qualifications, Local/Non-Local area status, category status as per uploaded relevant certificates by the concerned department officials. If the information furnished by the candidate in the application is incorrect, his/her candidature is liable to be cancelled and further action that deemed fit will be taken.

d) Candidates eligibility for admission into UG courses for the academic year 2021-2022 will be examined by the University only after scrutiny of application along with all uploaded copies of required certificates and provisional final merit list will be notified.

e) Registration along with uploading of Scanned Original certificates will be done only once irrespective of the number of counselings. No separate notification will be issued for verification of original certificates. Therefore the candidates should register and upload all the mandatory Certificates without fail.

f) This notification is for online registration for determining the State Merit position inrespective categories using NEET – UG - 2021 Rank only for eligible candidates. The schedule for exercising web options for admission to MBBS/BDS courses will be notified separately on University website. Candidates are advised to check the University web-site for notifications, counseling schedule , seat matrix and other details from time to time.

g) An in-eligible candidate obtaining Merit position does not make the candidate eligible for admission. Admission will be considered only for candidates, who have secured marks above cutoff score in NEET- UG-2021 exam and based on the state merit order as the case may be.

h. Scrutiny of uploaded Original Certificates shall be conducted by the University and concerned departmental officials. After scrutiny of application and certificates provisional final merit list will be released. Candidates are advised to refer to KNRUHS website for further details regarding schedule of exercising web options. No individual communication will be sent

i. Admissions will be in accordance with the procedure indicated in G.O.Ms.No.42, Higher Education (EC2) Dept., dated 18-05-2009, G. O. MS. No. 114 HM& FW( C 1 ) Department Dt.5.7 . 2017,subsequent amendments,G.O.MS.No.187, HM&FW, Dated:29-12-2021, relevant Hon'ble High Court/Supreme court orders and University regulations.

j. Candidates have to exercise one time Web options for seats in all the colleges for MBBS course and BDS course separately. One time web options only shall be considered for allotment of seats in all phases of counseling. Candidates cannot change the uploaded options for MBBS/BDS course once the notified time for exercising web options is over. Hence candidates and parents are informed to exercise web options very carefully in order of their preference for colleges and also to take a print out of exercised web options which are uploaded for reference.

k) After allotment the candidate should download the allotment order , submit the print-out of the filled-in Online application form, allotment order , Bonds and original certificates along with (1) set of self attested copies to the Principal of allotted college at the time of joining for final verification by the admissions committee of allotted college. The admission committee is responsible for scrutinyof the original certificates submitted by the candidate. In case of any discrepancy, the provisional allotment order for admission will be cancelled.
