MBBS Admissions: KNRUHS Issues Notice on Free Exit Of Admitted Candidates Under Management Quota
Telangana: Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) has issued a notification related to the free exit of candidates admitted into the MBBS course under management quota 2023-24.
The date for free exit for all the candidates admitted into the MBBS course under management quota for the academic year 2023-24 in colleges affiliated to KNRUHS is 22-09-2023 before 4:00 PM to discontinue from the course without any penalty. Candidates have to apply to the Principal for discontinuation from the course.
These candidates will not be eligible for further rounds of management quota counselling once they discontinue the course. The seats vacated by the candidates shall be filled in the subsequent phase of counselling.
Principals of Medical colleges must return the original certificates and the entire fee paid by the candidates immediately and upload the data to the admission portal by 5:00 pm on 22-09-2023 without fail.
Candidates are not permitted to withdraw from the seat after 4:00 PM on 22-09-2023 onwards. Candidates are informed that if they discontinue the course time notified for discontinuation they have to pay the tuition fee for the entire course, Rs. 2000000 of the Bond amount towards release of the bond, and they will be debarred from admission into KNRUHS for 3 years.
Candidates who have retained the seats allotted in 1st and 2nd phases of counselling are not permitted to withdraw from the course in accordance with Government Orders (G.O.Ms.No. 126 and 127 HM&FW (C1) Department, Dated: 22- 09-2022). however, the candidates are eligible for exercising web options for the mop-up phase of counselling.
Recently, the choice-filling process for round 2 MBBS counselling process under management quota was over on 19-09-2023. All the eligible candidates whose names are displayed in the provisional final merit list for management quota on the KNRUHS website were allowed to fill in the choices. The candidates selected were asked to report to the Principal of the respective college before the last date for joining as specified on the allotment letter, submit all original certificates, and relevant bonds and pay the tuition fee/college fee to complete the process of admission.
