MBBS, BDS Admissions under Management Quota: Dr NTR University of Health Sciences releases schedule, eligibility criteria, Details

Andhra Pradesh : Through a recent notification, the Dr NTR University of Health Sciences has notified about the schedule, application process and eligibility criteria for candidates seeking MBBS and BDS admissions under management quota at the colleges affiliated with the varsity.

Admission Into MBBS and BDS Courses Under Management Quota Seats in Private un-aided Non-Minority Medical and Dental Colleges and NRI Category Seats in SRI Padmavathi Medical College for Women (under SVIMS) in the State of Andhra Pradesh for the Academic year 2021-22 will be held as per the details mentioned below. 

Important Dates to Remember

Note:-

i) Entire Application process is through online mode only, including uploading of Images, scanned copies of Certificates/documents and payment of Application and Processing etc. Candidates are not required to send printout of application form/verification form etc. to the University. Offline applications are not accepted.

ii) All further notifications will be placed on University website ONLY. No Individual intimations will be sent. Visit the university website http://ntruhs.ap.nic.in regularly for subsequent notifications / instructions till the closure of admissions.

iii) Printout of application, Provisional Verification form along with Original Certificates should be submitted at the time of admission in college.

iv) The same online application form will be considered for all the rounds of the counseling including MOP-UP round counseling. Mere submission of application does not confer any right for a seat.

I. Regulations:

The following are the Regulations for admission of students into Management Quota (Category - B and Category –C (NRI)) seats in MBBS / BDS Courses in Private Un–Aided Non–Minority, Minority Medical and Dental Colleges and NRI Quota Seats in Sri Padmavathi Medical College for Women (Under SVIMS, Tirupati) in Andhra Pradesh for the year 2021-22. As per the NMC (Erstwhile MCI)/DCI Rules, the admissions into these courses will be made through separate counsellings with common application.

A. NUMBER OF SEATS UNDER MANAGEMENT QUOTA (Category-B and Category-C(NRI)):

i) The List of Medical & Dental Colleges and No. of Seats available under Category-B and Category –C (NRI)) is given in the Annexure - I.

ii) The admissions into the colleges are subject to the permission by the Government of India / NMC/ DCI and granting of affiliation of Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences for the academic year 2021-22.

iii) In case any new Medical Colleges or Dental Colleges are affiliated to the University/ any college is permitted by the Govt. of India for the academic year 2021-22, the seats in those colleges also will be filled up. No further Notification will be issued.

iv) The candidates should have qualified in NEET UG - 2021 exam by securing cut off marks and more.

v) The Rank and Score in NEET UG - 2021 shall be the basis for the selection into MBBS and BDS Courses subject to these regulations.

II. ELIGIBILITY:

CANDIDATES WHO SECURED THE CUT-OFF MARKS AND MORE IN THE NEET-UG 2021 AND FULFILLED THE FOLLOWING ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION INTO MBBS/BDS COURSES HAVE TO SUBMIT THEIR ONLINE APPLICATION BY PAYING THE NON-REFUNDABLE APPLICATION AND PROCESSING FEE INCLUDING VERIFICATION FEE THROUGH ONLINE AND UPLOAD THE SCANNED CERTIFICATES/DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR MANAGEMENT QUOTA (Category B & C (NRI)) SEATS.

Candidates should secure the following cut-off scores and more in NEET UG-2021 conducted by NTA for the year 2021-22 to apply:

i) A) Candidates from all over the country are eligible for admission into Management Quota (Category B & C (NRI)) seats in UG Medical and Dental Courses as per NMC (erstwhile MCI)/ Dental Council of India / Dr. NTRUHS regulations.

B) NRI or Children/ under guardianship of NRI, who secured cut-off score and more in NEET-2021, are eligible for admission into MBBS and BDS Courses under Management Quota Category – C (NRI) Seats in Private Un-aided Non-minority/ Minority Medical and Dental Colleges.

C) Candidates opting for NRI category seats in Sri Padmavathi Medical College for Women (under SVIMS), Tirupati are informed to visit SVIMS Website: http://svimstpt.ap.nic.in for fee particulars for NRI Category Seats. The seats will be filled as per the Government Orders in this regard.

ii) Candidates should have passed Intermediate (10+2) or its equivalent examination, i.e

qualifying examination, securing not less than 50% of marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany, Zoology) / Bio-technology, 40% marks in case of OBC/BC/SC/ST, are eligible for admission into MBBS/BDS Courses and they have to fulfill other relevant conditions laid down in these regulations as per NMC (erstwhile MCI)/ Dental Council of India guidelines.

*Lower percentile of marks for SC/ST/BC/PH is only for eligibility purpose and will not be applicable for reservation as there are no reservation quotas for these categories. Caste certificate issued by other state Governments will be considered for determining their eligibility for cut-off scores.

iii) AGE: Candidate should have completed 17 years of age as on 31-12-2021. Candidate who do not complete 17 years as on 31-12-2021 are not eligible and need not apply.

iv) Candidates who have already applied for Competent Authority Quota Seats in response to this University earlier notification are also eligible for the management quota seats, but they have to submit separate online application duly uploading the required scanned original certificates through https://ugmq.ntruhsadmissions.com/

v) The Application submitted for Competent Authority Quota seats will not be considered.

vi) Candidates possessing qualification of the University / Board of an institution outside the Andhra Pradesh State should submit Equivalence certificate issued by the Board of Intermediate Education of Andhra Pradesh, to the effect that the qualification possessed is equivalent to or higher than the Intermediate examination conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education of Andhra Pradesh, at the time of admission in the college.

vii) Candidates possessing qualification of the University / Board of an institution outside INDIA should submit Eligibility / Equivalence certificate issued by Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi and also Equivalence certificate issued by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh, to the effect that the qualification possessed is equivalent to or higher than the Intermediate examination conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education of Andhra Pradesh, at the time of admission in the college.

Note: If a candidate is found to have submitted false information or concealed any relevant information regarding eligibility or uploaded Forged/Fake certificate/ document, then the University will take action that deems fit as per rules against the candidate including cancellation of seat, in case already admitted then the admission will be cancelled, without any notice. Further action against such candidate will be taken by the University.

III. APPLICATIONS THROUGH ONLINE AND ONLINE FEE PAYMENT:

i) The on-line application form for filling and uploading scanned original certificates/documents required for determining Provisional Merit Position for Management Quota seats will be available on the website http://ntruhs.ap.nic.in and https://ugmq.ntruhsadmissions.com/ from 11.00 AM on 05.03.2022 to 05.00 PM on 11.03.2022.

Note: Candidates are advised to take a print out of the Prospectus / Instructions from the website http://ntruhs.ap.nic.in or https://ugmq.ntruhsadmissions.com/ and read carefully before proceeding to fill the online application form and upload the scanned certificates/documents.

ii) Application and Processing Fee (including Verification Fee): NON-REFUNDABLE - Rs.10,620/- (Rs.9000 + Rs.1620 (GST)) plus Bank charges extra. Fee can be paid through Debit card / Credit card or Net Banking. The fee paid by the applicant is not refundable and not adjusted to a future date under any circumstances.

iii) The candidate should fill the online application form available in the Website with the data required-for and upload the scanned Certificates/Documents in support of their claim through internet.

iv) The online application form can be filled through any computer with internet connection (home/internet cafe/net centre). The candidate is advised to fill the online application form after reading the Prospectus by keeping all the Certificates ready to enter the correct data and uploading of the scanned Original Certificates/ Documents, Photo and Signature after payment of fee through online.

v) The candidate should furnish correct information in the online application form and upload scanned original certificates. The applications with incorrect information, invisible documents will not be considered and automatically rejected. If it is found that the candidate has furnished false information or uploaded fake or forged documents at any stage of admission or after closure of admissions, the University will take action that deems fit as per rules against such candidate including cancellation of seat/ admission without any notice and action will be taken legally.

IV. Procedure to fill online Application for Management Quota Seats:

1. The candidates are advised to take a print out of the Prospectus / Instructions from the website http://ntruhs.ap.nic.in and https://ugmq.ntruhsadmissions.com/ and read carefully before proceeding to fill the application form.

2. Visit website https://ugmq.ntruhsadmissions.com/ through Internet to fill up the application form.

3. In view of COVID-19 and LOCKDOWN, the process of application and certificate verification has been changed. The following Certificates are required to complete the application process. The certificates are to be scanned and kept ready to upload. Application fee has to be paid through online.

4. LIST OF SCANNED ORIGINAL CERTIFICATES AND DOCUMENTS REQUIRED TO UPLOAD:

a. NEET – UG 2021 Score card issued by the National Testing Agency

b. Date of Birth Certificate. (SSC or its equivalent certificate).

c. 10+2 certificate. (Intermediate Grades Certificate not accepted)

d. Transfer Certificate

e. Minority Certificate (Muslim only)

f. Photo Identity Proof (Aadhar) 

g. Caste Certificate (to verify eligibility, if secured less than General Category cut off marks)

h. PwD Certificate (to verify eligibility, if secured less than General Category cut off marks)

i. Documents required for NRI seats in Private Non-minority/minority Medical/Dental Colleges:

Declaration (Annexure-II) on White Paper signed by both the candidate and NRI along with evidential documents such as Green Card/Citizenship Card/Copy of NRI's Bank Statement for last 6 months /Pass-port issued by the respective Country/ Latest Electricity Bill/Gas Bill /Water Bill in the name of NRI ( Visa / Driving license will not be accepted)

5. The Registration number sent to the registered mobile after entering the basic details should be noted for further use. The Registration number should be kept confidentially and not to disclose or share with others.

6. The candidate should sign at the declaration area in the print out of the online application form. The candidates need not submit or send the Printout of Application to the university.

7. The candidate should submit the Seat Allotment Order, Print-out of filled - in online application form, downloaded Provisional Verification form along with Original certificates/ documents at the time of admission at the allotted college.

8. The candidate should furnish correct information in the online application form and upload scanned original certificates with application. The applications with incorrect information, invisible documents will not be considered and automatically rejected. If it is found at any time of admission process or after closure of admissions that the candidate has furnished incorrect information or uploaded fake or false or forged documents, the University will take action that deems fit as per rules against the candidate including cancellation of seat / admission without any notice.
