MCC extends NEET PG 2025 counselling round 1 choice filling

New Delhi: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced an extension of the choice-filling deadline for Round 1 of the NEET PG counselling for the academic year 2025.

This will give medical aspirants additional time to finalise their preferred colleges and courses.

The announcement was made on the official website of MCC. According to the official website, “This is to inform all candidates that the Choice Filling for Round-1 of PG Counselling 2025 has been extended until further orders. Candidates are advised to regularly visit the official MCC website”.

However, according to the earlier released tentative schedule for the NEET PG online counselling and seat allotment process for 50 per cent All India Quota (AIQ), 100 per cent Deemed/Central Universities, and AFMS institutions, the choice filling and locking was scheduled from 28th October 2025 to 5th November 2025.

STEPS TO LOCK CHOICES FOR THE NEET PG ROUND 1 COUNSELLING 2025

STEP 1- Visit the official website of MCC.

STEP 2- Click on the NEET PG Counselling 2025 Round 1 choice locking facility link available on the home page.

STEP 3- A new page will open where candidates will have to enter the login details.

STEP 4- Click on submit and your choices will be displayed.

STEP 5- Check the choices and lock them.

STEP 6- Once done, fill out the application form.

STEP 7- Make the payment of the application fee.

STEP 8- Click on submit and download the page.

STEP 9- Keep a hard copy of the same for further needs.

Meanwhile, the seat allotment process of the NEET PG Round 1 Counselling for the academic year 2025 was scheduled to begin today. The seat allotment process will be done on the official website of MCC.
