A total of 1,15,900 MBBS seats are being offered by the 35 states and union territories. Meanwhile, as per the MBBS and BDS seat matrix, Deemed Universities contribute 13,939 MBBS, BDS seats, while 8,651 seats fall under the All India Quota (AIQ) except Central Universities.
AIIMS, BHU, and JIPMER jointly offer 2,179 seats. Central Universities including DU, IP, BHU, Jamia, and AMU offer a total of 1,272 MBBS and BDS seats, and the ESIC (Employees State Insurance Scheme) adds another 474 seats to the matrix.
