MCC to close NEET SS counselling round 2 registration tomorrow, choice locking from August 5
New Delhi: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the schedule for Round 2 of All India National Eligibility and Entrance Test -Super Speciality (NEET SS) Counselling 2025 for admission to DM, MCh and DNB SS courses.
As per the schedule, the registration will close at 3:00 PM tomorrow, i.e. August 5, 2026, while the Round 2 allotment result will be declared on August 7, 2026.
The registration facility is already open and will remain available until 3:00 PM on August 5, 2026, as per server time. Candidates will be able to make the prescribed payment until 6:00 PM on the same day.
Choice filling is also currently underway and will continue until 2:00 PM on August 6, 2026.
The choice-locking facility will open at 8:00 PM on August 5, 2026, and remain available until 2:00 PM on August 6, 2026. Candidates have been advised to carefully review their preferences before locking them within the stipulated deadline.
The processing of seat allotment will be carried out on August 6, followed by publication of the result on August 7. Following this, the candidates allotted seats will be required to report to their respective institutes between August 8 and August 12, 2026. Below is the detailed schedule-
