The candidates note that a seat leaving bond will be applicable if a candidate wishes to resign. Resignation will be at the admitted college level. A fresh choice filling is a must for round 1 admitted candidates who opted for upgradation and not allotted candidates of round 1. Candidates who opted for upgradation and do not exercise fresh choice filling will not be considered for allotment and shall remain admitted in their previous medical/Dental college. Choice filling and locking of the first round will be considered null and void.

For the state quota round 2 seats counselling process, the unreserved candidates will have to pay Rs 25000, and reserved candidates will have to pay Rs 12500 during the choice filling as advance fee online. For private colleges, the advance fee to be paid is Rs 2 lakh; for the NRI quota, the fee will be 10 lakhs.

The advance fee will be adjusted in the academic fee for the round 1 admitted candidates. The candidates who have not been allotted any seats in round 1 must pay the advance fee mentioned above.

In round 2, both domicile and non–domicile candidates can do choice filling. The 1st preference will be given to the domicile candidates. If domicile candidates are not available on a merit basis, then non-domicile candidates will be considered.

Before carrying out the choice-filling process, the candidates should have prewritten the order of choices. They should fill in the choices for such colleges for which they can pay the fee. If the candidates are allotted a seat and do not take admission to the allotted seat, they will not be considered for further rounds of counselling.

In round 2, the candidates who have been allotted seats and round 1 candidates who have been re-allotted seats in round 2 will have to carry out the admission process in the allotted college of round 2 as per the given time frame. If the admission is not taken, the advance fee will be forfeited. The candidates of round 1 who will not be re-allotted seats in round 2 will retain the same seat of round 1. The candidates who had opted for upgradation for round 2 but didn’t carry out the choice-filling process for round 2 will retain the seat of round 1.

Once the allotment process is over, the candidates will be able to download the allotment letter by using their login ID. The candidates who are allotted for the 1st time will have to carry out the admission process at the allotted colleges by submitting the documents needed. Those candidates who have been re-allotted in round 2 will have to carry the admission receipt, list of documents submitted, document verification slip, and the allotment order of round 2 to complete the admission process at the newly allotted college.

The online fee can be paid through net banking/debit card/credit card/RTGS. The candidates can choose more than 1 option for payment. Once the fee is paid, the college will issue an admission slip.

The round 2 admitted candidates and round 1 admitted candidates who have not been re-allotted seats in round 2 can apply for the mop-up round. The refund will be carried out once the counselling process is over, and the money will be refunded to the bank account mentioned at the time of registration.
