NBE Declares FMGE December 2024 Results, Scorecards Available from January 27

New Delhi- The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has declared the result of the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination for the December 2024 session. The result has been declared on the official website of NBE. The Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) December 2024 was held on January 12, 2025.

On this, through a notice, NBE has apprised all the candidates qualified in FMGE December 2024 that FMGE Pass Certificates shall be distributed “In-Person” after identity and credential verification, the schedule for which shall be notified separately. The result for FMGE December 2024 declared herewith is subject to in-person verification of identity and credentials.

Meanwhile, individual scorecards of candidates who appeared in FMGE-December 2024 can be downloaded from the NBE website on or after 27 January 2025. However, the scorecard of FMGE December 2024 issued by NBEMS on its website cannot be presented before a State Medical Council to seek registration.

The notice further instructed that if f ineligibility is detected at any stage of FMGE, the candidature shall be cancelled even if the result has been declared and/or the Pass Certificate has been issued. The use of unfair means, if detected at any stage of FMGE, shall be addressed as per the NBEMS Unfair Means Guidelines and/or applicable criminal provisions.

In the meantime, the result of 7 candidates has been kept “WITHHELD” subject to the outcome of NBEMS Examination Ethics Committee/ Unfair Means Case/ Court Matter/ Security clearance from MHA, as may be applicable.

Moreover, through the notice NBE had informed "Each and every question in FMGE-December 2024 question paper was reviewed by the subject matter experts from the concerned speciality after the conduct of FMGE-December 2024 exam to re-check for technical correctness of the questions as well as answer keys. As per the inputs of the subject matter experts, one question was found to be technically incorrect. Full marks have been awarded to all the appeared candidates irrespective of the fact whether this question was attempted or not attempted by them".
