NBE To Conduct Centralized Merit-Based Counseling for Sponsored DNB Seats 2024 soon, check Indicative Seat Matrix
New Delhi- The National Board of Medical Examinations (NBEMS) is going to conduct centralised merit-based counselling for admission to sponsored DNB (Post MBBS & Post Diploma) seats for the 2024 admission session.
As per the notice, the schedule for the counselling shall be notified in due course. Meanwhile, NBEMS has published the indicative seat matrix for Sponsored DNB (Post MBBS and Post Diploma) courses 2024 admission session. The Final Seat matrix will be notified before the conduct of Centralized Merit Based Online Counseling on the NBEMS official website.
To participate in the said counselling, a candidate needs to submit a duly filled and signed NOC at CWP of NBEMS latest by 10th January 2025.
STEPS TO SUBMIT NOC THROUGH CWP
STEP 1- Go to the NBEMS official website.
STEP 2- Contact them.
STEP 3- Communication Web Portal.
STEP 4- Department of Training and Monitoring.
STEP 5- Query related to Select option 1 “Counseling”.
STEP 6- Select option 2 “Submission of NOC”.
STEP 7- Select Course.
STEP 8- Fill in other details as per the requirement.
STEP 9- Attach NOC strictly as per the requisite format.
STEP 10- Submit Your Query.
However, it is to be noted that the receipt of NOC through any other mode/ email will not be considered by NBEMS. With this, centralized Merit Based online counselling for Sponsored DNB seats will be conducted thereafter
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR SPONSORED DNB (POST-MBBS) SEATS
1 Candidates who are working in a Government (State/ Central/ Autonomous/ PSUs, etc.) organisation on a regular basis are eligible for Sponsored DNB (Post MBBS) seats.
AND
2 Candidates must be in possession of an MBBS qualification recognised as per the provisions of the NMC Act, 2019 and permanent registration certificate of MBBS qualification issued by the Medical Council of India/ State Medical Council.
AND
3 Must have “Qualified” NEET-PG 2024.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR SPONSORED DNB (POST-DIPLOMA) SEATS
1 Candidates who are working in a Government (State/ Central/ Autonomous/ PSUs, etc.) organization on a regular basis are eligible for Sponsored DNB (Post Diploma) seats.
AND
2 Candidates who have passed the final examination leading to the award of Post Graduate Diploma from Indian Universities which are duly recognized as per provisions of NMC Act 2019 i.e. have passed final examinations for Postgraduate diploma qualification on or before 31st May 2024.
AND
3 Candidate must have “Appeared” in DNB-PDCET 2024.
Therefore, all such candidates who fulfil the aforesaid eligibility criteria and are desirous of for opting the sponsored DNB (Post MBBS and Post Diploma) seat are required to submit his/ her request to their parent organization. The Cadre Controlling Authority should issue a NOC in favor of candidates and submit it to NBEMS, strictly as per the format prescribed by NBEMS.
Moreover, as per the indicative seat matrix for Sponsored DNB (Post MBBS and Post Diploma) courses- 2024 admission session, a total of 153 seats are vacant, of these, a total of 122 seats are vacant in DNB Post MBBS Seats and a total of 31 seats are vacant in DNB Post Diploma across 122 institutes/hospitals in India.
