NBE to open selective edit window for NEET PG 2026 applications on July 31

New Delhi: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) is set to open the selective edit window for the NEET PG 2026 examination on July 31, as per schedule.

This will allow candidates to rectify deficiencies in their uploaded photographs via the 'Image Scrutiny' tab available on their login dashboards.

This facility is only for those candidates whose photograph, signature or thumb impression is found incomplete or incorrect during the verification process. During this period, no other information can be changed in the application form.

STEPS FOR NEET PG 2026 SELECTIVE EDIT WINDOW

Candidates whose images have been flagged for deficiencies can follow these steps to upload the corrected files-

STEP 1- Visit the official NBEMS NEET PG portal.

STEP 2- Log in using your user ID and password.

STEP 3- Open the Image Scrutiny tab available on the login dashboard.

STEP 4- Check whether your photograph, signature, or left thumb impression has been flagged.

STEP 5- Upload fresh images strictly as per the specifications mentioned in the Information Bulletin.

STEP 6- Review the uploaded images carefully before submitting them.

STEP 7- Save and submit the corrected images, and download or take a screenshot of the confirmation page for future reference.

Candidates should note that the 'selective edit window' is intended solely for rectifying photographs that have defects. No changes to personal details, academic information, or other application-related data will be permitted during this period. Failure to rectify the specified photographs by August 10, 2026, may result in the rejection of the application.

Deficient images, if any, may be communicated by NBEMS during the Selective Edit Window period through email and/or applicant login dashboard for rectification through the Image Scrutiny Tab. However, no further opportunity shall be given after this.
